Pop in a postcode to find out how crime ridden an area has been. Very usefull if you want an idea how safe an area is before moving there. It might be useful to some of you or someone you know. http://crimeandjustice.co.uk/crime-map/The main page of the site makes good reading also.... http://crimeandjustice.co.uk/

In all seriousness though my postcode is going to light up like a traffic light once that murder on Lyndsay Avenue hits that site

Bloody hell, that site is shocking. I've just looked at my area and while thankfully there aren't that many serious incidents on the mean streets of Moulton, I've gone back over 12 months and every single "serious" incident (I.e. anything other than antisocial behaviour) I hovered over said either "investigation complete, no suspect identified" or "unable to prosecute suspect". What the hell are the police doing? Turning up, looking around and if the culprit isn't still there doing the deed just buggering off back to the station for a cuppa?

Another person who needs kicking out of his job.....Adam Simmonds. Let's make sure we all vote next time we elect a new Northants Police And Crime Commissioner and not let this happen again! It was our own fault. https://www.police.uk/northamptonshire/pcc/

I have to say the one advantage of living where I do is that crime is virtually non existent. I never bother to lock my car, in the summer I can go out for a walk and leave the windows and the back door open knowing that there will be no trouble.
