Here we go again, charity, this time im doing the London Half Marathon for coppafeel, a brest cancer awareness charity. I lost my mother to breast cancer over 20 years ago, and many many are affected by this every day.
Another reason is that the Cobblers chosen charity this year is coppafeel hence the pink away shirts, with 10% of the cost going to coppafeel. With all the money problems at NTFC, not sure whether the cash has got where it is supposed to, or baldy has had that aswell so any donations would be great. even a peynd would help

FYI - At Mondays meeting the CEO answered a question on coppafeel and said (CEO) that the money for coppafeel was pretty safe and accounted for. I think that was more or less the case but no doubt some on here would clarify.

Latest installment paid today according to club on Facebook. Does this mean that the bank accounts are no longer frozen so staff can be paid?

We only paid them £2087, don't think you can read too much into that.

Thanks to a few hotelenders that have supported me so far, briliant, Hallam, Ralap, and a chap called John Parrot who has also given a very large sum to the fighting fund. I am aware that coppafeel have been paid in some shape of form by NTFC , but a little more for the cause would go a long way, it would be great if my fundraising could get near the clubs total. If you are not donating to the fighting fund, this will take your donation instead.  Grin

Good old John a proper decent bloke.
I met him at Aintree races once and after snooker and horse racing he explained how much he enjoyed his football.

I think you might not be getting too big a response Grove as, like myself, a lot of supporters gave to this when it was done a few weeks ago. Nothing personal.

I made up a load of packs of my Cobblers Christmas cards which I sold and donated money to the Trust during the bucket rattling lasst month I have six packs left which if I can sell, I'll give the money to Ian to add to his total. I'm working on the German market in the town centre every day until the 20th so if you want to pick some up, I'm just opposite BodyCare/Waterstones, You can't miss the stall it's festooned with stars. Cards are £5.00 for ten.

P.S, Just sold one so have five left.  Smiley
