If there is a strategy to be published can someone give an indication of when the Trust are aiming to communicate it? .
My situation will be replicated by others namely - I have a number of tickets to buy for Coventry & the next home game. I, like others will go with whatever the Trust recommends, but with the pressure of wanting to ensure I get decent tickets I now don't know whether to 'Stick or Twist'.
Without advice to the contrary People will inevitably end up going with their gut instinct to do the best thing. Most likely this will be to walk down to the club with a wallet full of cash.
People will be prepared to hold back on purchases for a bit if they were given an idea of when they would receive instruction.
Thank you for any information you can give that will allow us to make a more informed decision.

What is there to discuss / communicate?! I will be attending as many games as I can to support the club, including Coventry and Mansfield, and where possible I will be paying cash as requested recently by Gareth.

Ignore all the negative comments above, its back on, lets get #SellOutSixfields and #SaveTheCobblers trending and sell as many ticket as we can for the FA Cup game this weekend and the home game on 14th has to be a sell out. The more money into the club and just as importantly the more the council see how important this club is to the town, the better.
What is the away allocation at the Ricoh? Lets show the country what a proud and big club we are.

Fair play to the trust for finally getting their act together and doing something more than arranging car boot sales and fish and chip quizzes; I've no doubt that you all have the club's best interests at heart and I hope for all our sakes that your efforts are successful.
That said, who the hell do you think you are telling other fans what they can and can't do?!? If people want to encourage others to get down to Sixfields that is up to them. We might have precious few opportunities to do so in the future. We should ALL be getting our backsides to every game we can while we still can. I don't care what the trust's view is one way or another on whether people should be buying tickets or not because frankly it's none of their business. I'll be going and I'd encourage everyone else to do so too. We all love our club. Don't miss out just to score cheap political points.
If it all goes horribly wrong and, let's not kid ourselves, it might, do you really want to spend the rest of your lives regretting that you missed our last ever match or do you want to be able to say "I was there. I supported my club to the bitter end"?
I know what I think and frankly I'm not bothered what the trust think: #SellOutSixfields

Can I just say here and now as the Trust spokesman that The Trust aren't telling people what they can and can't do. One fan who is a member of the Trust has given his views on this - my personal views are completely different to his and if you guys want to go forward with this campaign then it's my personal opinion that you should do whatever you want. It's a free country and neither I nor the Trust or anybody else has the right to stop you doing it. It's quite possible for members of the Trust to hold different views so now let's all calm down again

and this thread sums up quite nicely why I'd never want the Trust in charge of the club. There are too many different opinions, it would only be a matter of months before the fan base became disenfranchised with the whole thing and the Trust would become figures of hate. You can't please all the people, all the time, it's impossible, better to have one man at the helm with a plan and the finance to see that plan through. Then we all know who to hate.

What if the trust were in charge of the club, and YOU were in the trust? You could then influence the way the club is run, if you had disagreements or ideas then you would have the opportunity to debate them. Obviously this post is a reply to John, but it really does apply to anyone who is not a trust member £5 ffs! I am away this Saturday (was hoping for a London draw in the FA Cup!) However, tomorrow I intend to buy two tickets for the Mansfield game, and drag my partner down with me (a Wrexham fan). Going to do all the things that Northampton has to offer in a kind of valedictory tour of the town...

1) Aren't we already figures of hate? 2) The Trust in its current form you are correct would never stand a chance of running the club. That doesn't mean that people can't come in who have the experience and necessary skills to do it. It's happened at every other club, why not ours? 3) In my view we'd really struggle to make as much of a mess of things as David 'one man at the helm with a plan and the finance' Cardoza has.

With all due respect this is just a small communication issue at a v testing time for everyone. I have made the Trust spokesman aware of potential issues with the way monies into the club are being dealt with. Both Cobbler78 and myself agree it would be helpful to get a prompt Trust line on this to help supporters in spending their hard earned direct money with the club. I will now leave that with the Trust spokesman to deal with.

Pattcobb, who is to say what I want is what everybody else wants? That definitely would not be the case and therein lies the problem with what you say.
Look at it this way. If I won the euro lottery this week and it was worth £100 million I would buy the club and clear the debt. I would pay for Sixfields to be expanded to a 25,000 capacity, I'd have a terrace at one end for the home fans, a sort of Holt End like at Villa. I'd have a supporters bar/club on site with cheap beer which would be open all week and we'd have a darts team, skittles, all sorts. The team would play in claret and white quarters and I'd give Wilder a budget to firstly get us out of this division and then up to the next level where I would want us to cement our place. I'd back Wilder all the way but if he failed to attain those targets he'd be gone. Then I guess my life would be nearing it's end but I'd be happy knowing I'd left the town a legacy to be proud of.
Now then, some of you might like this plan, some of you may not. The Trust would be welcome to jump on board the Marvo express or they could fall under it, I'm not fussed either way.

I might even change the name of the grind to... Oh I don't know..... Marvoland? Does that Freudian slip allude to your username on grindr? I guess I was pointing out that in an organisation like the Trust you will have difference of opinions. I for instance agree wholeheartedly with #selloutSixfields while other trust members seem to not. If you want an organisation that has a common ideal but different opinions on how to achieve them, look no further than the Labour Party, and most trade unions too it would seem the Trust is no different to those and other organisations like it. The tie that bonds us all is that we are Cobblers fans. There actually would be nothing to stop you still joining the Trust with or without your now expected lottery windfall.

Does that Freudian slip allude to your username on grindr? More a big fingers, little buttons, IPhone slip. Anyway, if I owned the club why would I want to be a member of the Trust?

People seem to be thinking, its a done deal and we are out of the mire. I have no idea if this is the case or not, but either way this is a must see game. It could either be our last ever game, the start of a brand new era or, if the WUP is posrponed the chance to get some cash in the tils towards the £166k debt.
So get your tickets now, by cash if possible and if its not the start of a new era we can show the powers that be that we are a good investment and a club worth saving #SellOutSixfields

I'm hopeful of a sell-out, although I fear that the rumours will prove to be true, that the new owner will await administration before taking over.
