Great game, terrific support, made me proud to be a Cobbler.

Indeed...some of the noisest away support I've ever heard, and the vast majority of fans joining in by at least clapping along! Barely heard the Cov fans in the entire 90 mins
such was our racket....I do hope that wasn't the last ever awayday!

Big well done to the team if any of them are reading this thread but perhaps more importantly, a big well done to the fans. Unfortunately I couldn't make it today as I had prior commitments for this weekend but each and every one of you who went have done our club proud and have shown that if we do die, we will fight and go down all guns blazing. I'm privileged to be associated with all of you just by the fact we love our club Smiley

Brilliant - Everyone that went today, that was absolutely 1st class.

From the big turn out, the impeccably observed minutes silence, the 105 minutes of continuous, passionate singing (I include the chanting around the bars in the stand at half time), the dozens of bucket collectors around the ground, the impromptu chanting of Brian Lomax' name, the on field Herculean efforts, and ultimately the result. All of this reminds me why I am a fan of this club and why we should all be proud of it.

If we wanted to showcase the club in a positive light and demonstrate what it means to many, many people then today could not have gone any better.

To all that went today, I say Well Done, you have done your Club proud.

That was immense. I took my very old dad on his second ever Cobblers awayday today...his first being the  Bristol Rovers play-off semi in 1998  Grin  He's somehow managed to miss everything-Wembley's trips included, in between.
And I just heard him whisper to Mrs CJ what a fantastic atmosphere it was and how much he enjoyed it Grin

Two great personal individual moments from today.

They served draught Guinness at the stadium.

Zander while attempting to head clear in the final minutes slips and flicks his leg up behind him clearing the ball with his heal. Genius.

I felt sorry for the poor old fellow sitting not too far from me who could not silence his phone from playing music throughout the entire duration of the minutes silence. He really tried his best but the damned thing would not shut up.

I see a video is up on youtube of the half time shenanigans.
