Yep, congrats Dunny and I really did always think you were potentially a very good keeper

Very pleased for the lad. He was thrown in the deep end in league 1 , and to be fair was out of his depth. However, he's come on leaps and bounds in the last year, and I honestly think that if you combined the attributes of Dunn and Bunn , you'd have an England Number 1.

Very pleased for him. He's come in for some severe criticism at times. Still a very young keeper and think he'll play a lot higher up in years to come.
Hopefully with us!

He started to develop when Simon Brown came to the club, after Jim was told where to go. Dunny found this better in training etc because Brown could take shots at him, whereas JB was getting on a bit and always aimed at the same spot in goal.
On top of this, Dunny is a top lad, he's grounded, and not the cocky sort, (like some of the other players!)

No he wasn't... As I said in the other thread he's hardly to blame for Tozer being unable to deal with a longball. And he's hardly going to outpace their striker to it after Tozer f**ked up, is he? Some good saves, too. People are too quick to criticise him, in my opinion.

Tozer should never have allowed the ball to bounce, BUT Dunn has no timing in such situations, he comes out too soon, well before the tussle between defender and attacker has reached a possible conclusion...their player simply had to clip the ball past Dunn into 18 yards of unprotected penalty area and on into goal. Both of our players were beaten in one movement. Poor judgement.

It's completely unfair to blame Dunn in any way for the Cheltenham goal. He fully expected, quite rightly, that Tozer would deal with that ball, and had no chance once he didn't.

Quote from Briowski He was rubbish yesterday mind Nah sorry! Tozer rightly took the blame for the goal, after that any keeper is bound to feel bit shakey as to what his defenders would do next - especially against two of top strikers in league - and not forgetting our players have a tendency to get sent off! No Dunny is coming along nicely - he also never had Bunny's apprenticeship with a non-league team - top man too.

I think the time has come now to replace Dunny. His decision making is woeful, he cant kick, he cant catch and has cost us far too many points over the last two seasons. I've lost count the number of times the defence has a go at him for not coming off his line when he should be. How many times has he made a save when everyone has stood back and said wow take a bow son.... once or twice at a push! Replacing him should've been done properly ages ago. Im not totally blaming dunny for all this as he was pushed in at the deep end far too early. He should have been sent out on loan like bunny was to gain some 1st team experience. Time to start preparing for next year sammo as the playoff dream has now died
