NTFC official historian Frank Grande has offered to make up a framed certificate of your first or most memorable Cobblers game. You would tell him which game was the first you ever saw or which was the most memorable and he would then set out an A4 sized Cert with your name on it and date, opponents, score, attendance, both sets of players, referee and any available notes about the game. This would be available in either a Black or White  frame and cost £12.50 with all the profits going to the Trust fighting fund
To order please pm me with the date (season) of the match you require, or you can order on here if you leave contact details

First went to a game at around five or six. No idea what happened or who we played.

Most memorable game is possibly the Bristol rovers playoff game,  1st and 2nd leg in 1998. Great games.

I'll do this once I work out what my first game was. This might involve a trip up the loft to find a program

Great idea. I always thought I was an unlucky omen when I started to watch the Cobblers as you'll see as you read below.

First Game...... 1-2 Loss against Leyton Orient - I think it was 1994 - This was Leyton Orients first away win in roughly 2 years. I could be wrong but I think it was Danny O'Shea with our goal.

Second Game.......... Same fixture roughly same time of the year and the same result. This was Leyton Orients first away win since the game the previous season.

I would like to order the fist game for certain. At them prices I might as well go for another, so many games to pick from during me time watching the club. I could go for the Play Off games against Cardiff, 2x Wembley finals (not the game against Bradford), the 2nd leg against Brizzle Rovers, the Liverpool game, the Bolton game, the West Ham games etc. Lets go with the Manchester United FA Cup game as well. Let me know how you would like me to pay.

To confirm my first game and the Manchester Utd game

My mate is an O's fan. They made up T shirts with "I saw the O's win away" after that second win which was a Tuesday night and a 95th minute winner if I remember. By a quirk of fate it was a year to the day of their last away win on our hallowed turf!

I think I'll do this when I am able to work out what my first game was! But does anybody remember when we beat swansea 4-2 in 2008 at home? I know we've had bigger/more important victories since, but I can't remember there being too many better atmospheres at Sixfields than on that day in the North Stand. Swansea were flying that year and everyone thought we'de get a bit of a hiding but the lads played out of their skins and tore apart the league leaders! 3-0 up inside half an hour! Not my first or most memorable game, but out of the more recent years, it is definitely one that really sticks with me because of the result and the amazing support from our fans that day  Grin

I've got a feeling that they could have secured promotion that game?

I remember the ball coming into the North Stand in the second half (shortly after we scored our 4th) and as I wondered down the front to retrieve it, the ball sat up nicely for me to put my left foot through it and i almost cleared the East Stand... much to the dismay of their keeper and one of our stewards who gave me a telling off. Great day.

5-0 away win at Brighton in the 60's with Large having a field day and Kurilla dominating the mid field.

I wonder whether, once things calm down a tad, whether this feature can be expanded into 5 or 6 separate decades...the one thing Cobblers fan do, at least me and my mates, is reminisce about the past...good, bad and normally terrible..over time this could be a great archive of memories called "Do You Remember?"...

Most of my happiest immediate memories are somewhat hazy...but am I correct in remembering that we beat Peterboro during G Carr's 86/67 that saw us go top? Or is that wishful thinking...I also remember not being allowed to go to Cobblers v Bournemouth and listening wistfully in the park as we stuck 5 in in the first half...and I remember pretending to be a Waterlooville fan to be allowed in to watch the FA Cup replay...and as for Reading away one year in the 1980's...bloody hooligans!

Mind you, if things still go wrong in the next few days.."Do You Remember" might be the only feature left!
