I remember going to Bournemouth and watching us ship 5.  Duncan spedding was getting the proper run around at left back.  He got sent off before halftime; we could all see it coming.  Seem to remember Danny invincible giving us some issues.

1997 Play off at wembley, the win against Bristol Rovers at Sixfields the following year. And the game at Rotherham to secure the 3rd round tie against a team from Salford Wink.

I wonder whether, once things calm down a tad, whether this feature can be expanded into 5 or 6 separate decades...the one thing Cobblers fan do, at least me and my mates, is reminisce about the past...good, bad and normally terrible..over time this could be a great archive of memories called "Do You Remember?"...

Most of my happiest immediate memories are somewhat hazy...but am I correct in remembering that we beat Peterboro during G Carr's 86/67 that saw us go top? Or is that wishful thinking...I also remember not being allowed to go to Cobblers v Bournemouth and listening wistfully in the park as we stuck 5 in in the first half...and I remember pretending to be a Waterlooville fan to be allowed in to watch the FA Cup replay...and as for Reading away one year in the 1980's...bloody hooligans!

Mind you, if things still go wrong in the next few days.."Do You Remember" might be the only feature left!
We won 2-1 on a Sunday afternoon to go top if i remember correctly, also knocked them out the cup that season (3-0) and beat them at London Road 1-0 (benjy)

I can remember what I think was our first Sunday game and we beat Bristol City or Rovers 7-1 and did them 3-1 down there. Another Sunday game I remember was at Swindon and we beat them 5-1 after their keeper got crocked in the opening minutes.
