Chatted with some great Bradford fans last night before the England game. The OB are all over the pics provided by our posters on here and have made several banning orders already.
The club are making a massive thing about in the local press and they will all be weeded out sooner or later.
Well done BCFC... I may well return to the Valley..

BCFC have handled the situation really well. Its a shame that the mindless idiots acted in such a disgraceful way on such a emotional day for BCFC in the first place

I received the following email today from the FA after I sent one to them on the evening of May 1st....
Thank you for your email.
Bradford City v Northampton Town – 1st May 2010
The FA has received a number of complaints about the behaviour of home supporters on the pitch at the end of the above game. We have taken this matter up with Bradford City FC who have conducted a “name and shame” campaign in conjunction with the local media, publishing images of the main offenders in the local newspaper and on the club website. The club has received a good response from the Bradford public and has placed lifetime bans on four supporters so identified. The police are now also pursuing football banning orders against those individuals.
Temporary stadium bans – of 6 to 12 months – are being considered against others who have been identified, depending on the level of their behaviour at the match. In addition, the club safety officer has met with 13 younger supporters who were deemed to be on the periphery of the offensive behaviour, along with their parents, and has placed the young fans on contracts of good behaviour – outlining the standards of behaviour that are expected in the ground and the consequences if behaviour should fall below those standards – signed by the individuals and their parents. The club has a further three such meetings planned.
When the new season starts, the club plans to display posters showing any fans that have not yet been identified.
Kind regards,
|

Very pleased that such forward steps have been taken by a football club.
I was there and it was rather unpleasant on a day of respect and sorrow

I think it is good that these idiots have been banned, more for the disrespect than anything.

Fair play to Bradford again, we don't need mindless morons like this attending games. Good riddance, hopefully he will grow up and learn to respect others.

This will all lead to the mindless idiots making their way up to Bradford this season, I fear.

Hey, I'm already there. Actually, I'm not, I'm in France, but by Thursday evening I'll be there.

Ha! you won't see them at Bradford. Theres more chance of seeing them giving it the Barry McGuigans at Hartlepool in the JPT where they won't get hurt.

You could tell at half time they had there fair few moronic twat supporters, just the way they drummed all the way through the sally army bands half time tribute... Now i am not bothered either way if i could hear the band but was pretty shocked at the overall lack of respect for there club and own fans. The pitch invasion was allways going to happen as they do it every last home game of the season.. Good news all the same that they are going to get named and shamed...
