Dear Alwaysdark, My moniker is BigNose obviously because ......I have a tiny p^nis. (that and the fact that I can smell Chanel Allure from 3 blocks away) Thanks for the laughs by the way......Many an evening I have sat hunched over my PC chuckling at your shiny/sticky red/pink dome. Your humour is certainly unique, that's for certain. I always imagine you as teetering very close to that fine line between genius and madness; am I right? Ever thought of laughter as a career choice? That's at least two people that enjoy my humor now. Do you happen to know Norris Mcwhirter's phone number per chance? Just a thought. Have you ever considered that you could well have normal sized nose , just decorating a slightly small face? Moving on... I fear that I may be slightly closer to the madness side of things rather than any kind of genius. I do however have a talent when it comes to the winning coconuts from village fetes. I even managed to knock two off of with one ball once. On another occasion a ball I had thrown managed to ricochet off a coconut and wedged itself between an extremely buxom women's breasts who had been watching on She promptly removed the ball and tossed it back to me saying "I bet you couldn't do that again. She was right because I had run out of 50p's

It needs investing in the clubs future, things like fans village, young fans pre match footy tournaments, incentives to attract new fans etc etc. Failure to move the club forward after our lucky escape would be criminal. Having retrieved the trust from cardozas ar5ehole we must ensure not to allow it to disappear again.
I don't think this is a good idea. The trust promoted the fundraising campaign as an effort to save the club and it was on this basis that people gave their money. I don't think it is going to look good if people on the outside see us spending money on a fan's village. Morally it doesn't seem right.

how long must we dress in sack cloth and ashes? Lets show our soon to be new rivals L1 and championship clubs that we mean business, morals dont come into it when you need to catch up on lost time, half a century in our case! Its my interpretation that the trust should be a lot more than having an elected member eating chocolate digestives in the boardroom, it should play an active role in promoting the club and raising revenue streams in order to progress the club. Boot sales are good but there should be lots more besides.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. It is not up to the general public to give us money to 'catch up on lost time'. When the Trust were fundraising, there was no mention of this. If you fund raise and take money from people you must use that money for the purpose you specified. Do you think half of the people that gave money would have donated if we had told them that the money would be used to 'show our soon to be new rivals L1 and championship clubs that we mean business'? Nothing like this was stated when collecting money, it is wrong to just move the goalposts now. If we ever got into a desperate situation again, do you think those fans from other clubs will donate again if we just use the money we have now to 'show them we mean business'?

I think you may have missed the news that the Trust has no legal right to a representative on the board of the football club after the articles of association have changed.

If you were at the Trust AGM last evening you would have heard that no decision has been made about the money, all time has been spent trying to save the club. Therefore you are wrong to state the goalposts have been moved!

I think he was just replying to someone who suggested we spend it on a fan village. So dismount that high horse.

If you are able to follow the discussion you will see that I was responding to another poster's suggestion. Try and keep up. Avoid living up to your name.
