I think it was a very long time ago.

I doubt my memory, but could it have been 1987

Joint top of the league, 5 wins from 5 games in November, Wilder a shoe-in for manager of the month, and the off field "business" ironed out......its been a good few weeks eh?!

Pretty ugly game played in terrible conditions. Yeovil looked quite good but you can see why they are where they are, very 'soft centre'. I'd be worried if I was one of their fans.

Atmosphere was a little flat as it often is when a bigger crowd is in. The relief of this week seemed to manifest itself in a "turn up and be entertained" expectation.

Happy to see a ground-out win and our ever-improving league position.

Lastly I was pleased with Wilder's interview. Keeping everyone's feet firmly on the floor is definitely the right way to go about it right now.

I thought Yeovil worked hard and made it difficult for us to punch through. Given the hellish wind and rain I thought we did well. Isn't it just so warming to look at our league position! Happy as Larry. (Who is he???)

When was the last time we were top?

Hey, Mr Marquis, Your Excellency, any chance of unbanning Marvo so we can get the answer to this important information.

Cheers.

Thought they made it difficult for us and the conditions made it a poor game.

There was a clear gulf in class though and there was always only going to be one result.

I think that sums things up just fine. Hope Rico and JJ are ok. Expect 60 mins from Ricky Holmes next week.

I thought the game was reasonable considering the conditions - defence played well with Diamond and Cresswell in control. Lelan just about ok whilst Buchanan not quite upto his normal standard. Midfield played pretty well but thought that Byrom was the pick. D'ath took his goal well and showed his class too. Adams lacked his usual sparkle; Richards did ok with nicely taken goal, cross provided by Adams. Comfortable win with Yeovil playing the sideways and back to goalie with perfection. Wouldn't mind betting NV give us more of a game.

Another solid result, we've created a really good winning mentlity and should fear noone now, home or away.

Sure, we're bound to blip sooner or later but we're in the best position we've been in for ages. I thought last year was a mised opportunity, this year would be a  even bigger one now given where we've got ourselves.

That said, after the past few years, can't grumble at being a Cobbler right now!

We are starting to look like the real deal. Not always polished, but organised with strength and depth all over. It has taken time, plus a few ignorant and ill educated opinions from stay away "supporters" during the team building process, but the league table doesn't lie. It still early days. Long may it last.

Well done to the lads...

Diamond and Byron were excellent in awful conditions.
The match was won by the two class passes of the match by Potter and Adams.

Nice distraction next week but still have to be up and at them to get into the 3rd round.

Nice to look forward to the future!

It's a bit of an anomaly that we've only travelled to one of the top 10 (Wycombe in 9th) so far this season. Definitely some tough matches to come. On the flip side, some nice-looking home fixtures on the horizon.
