I was responding to a previous post when I suggested Andy Holt another left back 'clubman' who didn't berate others and wave his arms regardless of who was at fault. I'm not Evan Horwood and I'm not starting an argument, I recognize and have already stated that my opinion will be a minority one.
Oh and I'm not moaning, I'm leaving that to Dave Buchanon.
I get what you're saying. But disagree that its a bad thing.
I think players like McDonald needs someone like Buchanan around to shout at him, it keeps people on thier toes. Buchanan rarely makes mistakes which is why he is such a good left back since he kind of lacks height/speed/strength.
I'm not sure if your opinion is formed because you've seen occasions where he blames others when it was his own mistake?
You watch Wilder when D'Ath is playing on the wing near him, he's constantly at him, shouting, directing, berating. Maybe he feels D'Ath needs it to keep his concentration up.
It would of been all too easy(and understandable) for players to come out in the last few months and put in lacklustre performances given the circumstances, someone like Buchanan doesn't allow that. You might f*cking hate playing within ear shot of him sometimes but he'll make you a better footballer.
