No idea really. Every football project he's been involved with seems to involve him being back by 'money men'. If there really are rich people out there that just give money to people to play with then I would like to know how to find them.

They're clearly private investors....much as we are in our pensions etc. They have the right to anonymity, until they start borrowing from the council of course

Wouldn't investors imply they expect a return on their investment....
If they really are putting circa £4m in then a return is very unlikely.
But as you rightly say they have a right to anonymity and as long as they don't have any interest in Canada I'm a happy man.

Some investors need an association with a well known sporting club to promote a business or have so much money they need to spend a bit....kelvin

Mike Wailing is the obvious current person with a bit of money. Jim Rosenthal, life long Oxford fan and ex-director was at the West Stand today. Whisper it quietly but Kassam is rumoured to be connected but if the land that could potentially hold a hotel is back with NBC it's difficult to see why he would be interested.

Can't find any mention of Mike wailing on the internet. What sort of money does he have?

It's going to be very difficult after such a long time, but perhaps the best thing for us is to drop the amateur investigative journalism, and just start enjoying being simply supporters again.
The Hotelend as been as instrumental in uncovering facts over the final throes of Cardoza's tenure as anybody, or any organisation. But there has to come a time when we sit back and take a rest and just enjoy the marvellous position we now find ourselves in the league and on the pitch.
Let it go for now. Let's give KT and the lads our endorsement and judge them as we find, without employing Google to reinforce every opinion. I'm sure we have proved we can be a formidable foe if you give us just cause, but for now it would be wrong.
It's time to relax and enjoy the Cobblers.

100% agree (other than the obvious proviso that anyone with new information about potentially guilty parties from Cardoza's era should get that to the correct investigators).

Well said mate... there's already one person who's trying his best to "uncover the truth" about our new investors. I 100% agree with you..... DROP IT....ENJOY THE FOOTY!

Uncover the truth? What are you on about. Dear lord it wasn't a swipe at the new owners at all. It was just a question! I simply don't get the emotional response.

We're all emotionally drained.
All I want to worry about now is the league table.

Yeah, alongside Kevin Turvey and Dennis Pennis some of the greatest investigators of our time, Theo Telend can have a bit of a break now

I dont think theres any harm in asking these questions. If Cardoza hadn't done anything wrong and had just sold the club people would still be asking these questions. Who are they, who's got what, what can they do for us etc
