Ms too but couldn't quite work out what he was saying. In fact I was surprised how quickly he announced the scorers.
Think I'll get my hearing tested then!

4-3 was a highly flattering score line for Luton.
It was flattering although a visit to Luton Outlaws Forum you would not have thought this was the case. With comments like "at! 3-3 we can go onto win this" but most wanted JS sacked now! Perhaps the most bizarre was that CW was going to join Luton along with 3 or 4 players. As for the game Luton hardly deserved their opener but it gave them some impetus for the next 10 mins before we over ran them with a simple but effective drill type first goal; followed by D'ath's splendid goal and Rico's tap in. Luton were disintegrating along with their fans ! In many years following the Cobbs have never witnessed a win at Luton let alone a point, although we did have a 0-2 win there back in the 60's which I missed! After the interval we did seem to take our foot off the ball and paid the price. IMO we do have defensive issues - their 1st and 2nd goals looked a bit soft and thought Smith might have done better. Everybody played well; Potter was outstanding and D'ath also very good. Richards was at his best and well supported by the midfield with Byron nearly MOM; the great JJOT began to bestride the midfield like only he can. The way he rides the rough tackles is a pleasure to watch and for that reason will make him MOM. To me his performance in midfield cemented our win yesterday. One misplaced pass by JJOT led to their penalty. Cometh the 66th minute - they equalize; in the 69th on comes Holmes and still in the 69th he scores with a thunderbolt. I was right behind the goal it did swerve a little but the sheer power from 25/30yds did for Tyler. After that he did a few dribbles which left Luton defenders bamboozled and so many pantomime air kicks that it had you laughing in sheer delight. Our support was good too and won the bragging rights - deservedly so!

I'm still catching my breath, what a game, what a performance. Luton fans at the Stags in Earls Barton said we should have ben 6 or 7-1 up by half time. That's how good we were. This is easily the best team since 1986. Loving every minute - what can we say about the Ricky Holmes' goal?
The team performance and the away end atmosphere reminded me of the Carr champions season. We looked as if we could step up a gear each time Luton scored. JJOT simply immense on the ball. Never seen such a transformation with a Cobblers player. Fantastic sequences of attacking play. My only negative: Cresswell and Diamond simply are not mobile enough.

After years of boredom, despair, resignation and misery, this is unbound joy.

Luton fans also think Wilder would become their new manager if they wanted him.

Cresswell and Diamond simply are not mobile enough.
I don't think Diamond is particularly slow, at least he didn't show it on Saturday. Cresswell lacks pace and it shows. Thought that Cresswell had to put with some Benson strong arm tactics on Saturday which the referee allowed or turned a blind eye too. What people on here have failed to mention is Lutons persistent hoofing - or euphemistically referred to as long ball tactics. CMS was forever getting caught off side whilst Benson dropped deeper and deeper as the game wore on. Nobody on Luton's Forum have commented on Cresswell and Diamonds lack of pace; rather Bensons lack of it!

That penalty...awful, awful decision. Moloney was just letting Mackail-Smith go and got cleaned out from behind.
