Dear Bungles Finger - what not have a go for Aidy Boothroyd? Why should we be the only ones to suffer?
We've had Dean Saunders. That's BAD.

The Saints, Leicester Tigers, Ipswich, MK Dons and West Brom use the facilities at the college alongside the Cobblers, and the Uruguay rugby team was based there for the World Cup just gone. The facilities must be alright Bingers, no? Also the England rugby league condition coach called it one of the best facilities for recovery in Europe.
Okay, I stand corrected.

He's reportedly interested in the job so don't write it off just yet.
My first choice would be O'Driscoll though.

Why did you choose the name of BunglesFinger ? I do like the little pub in the centre of Chesterfield's market area, I forget its name.

Dear AlwaysDark There you go again!!!! Hahahahahaha!!! I love the way you are interested in the details, and therefore you ask the questions that nobody else dare ask!!!? (ie. why are you called BigNose?) Hahahaha!! I remember watching an interesting documentary about autistic people and how they are now becoming positively selected for certain jobs precisely because they are better at spotting the minor details that most of the rest of the population either miss, or are too worried about offending people to actually ask....!!! For the record, I too wondered why he chose to call himself BunglesFinger, but I was too shy to ask!!

As others have said, I doubt Wilder would go to Chesterfield. Potential wise they're not a big enough step up. Also the relationship he has with Kelvin Thomas and the squad he has assembled here would take some beating elsewhere. How many managers can claim that they were instrumental in bringing the chairman to their club?
However, the wider point here is that if we continue to be successful, and in particular if we win promotion, he probably will get more attractive offers. The Sheff Utd job in particular would obviously be pretty hard to turn down.
I'd like to see a genuine succession plan put in place for this eventuality so that we're not starting again with some random hoofball merchant but rather that we continue to play the style and the system (4-2-3-1, pressing game) which has been so effective and pleasing on the eye. Perhaps Alan Knill could take up the reigns or perhaps we should be appointing/developing (Hinton?) a young and ambitious youth team/development coach who can be trained up to take over and in the meantime bring through some youngsters capable of playing this type of football.
Anyway, hopefully this is a long way down the line, but the most successful clubs plan for such contingencies and have the long-term foresight and philosophy to ensure long-term progress rather than short-term panic.

It's aptly named the market - the pub not the area (well the area is as well)

What, with Wilder? He's been banging on about the Portsmouth game and this time next year there is a big possibility we could swap leagues.

If you ignore Mark Cooper, the actual odds-on favourite for the position.

One good bit of news then, followed by something silly Mr Finger . So are you going to tell us what your name represents? Is the Portland Hotel still going? I had a room there once that had wonderful views of the local jazz mag and dvd store

I doubt many people went in it when you can get all the filth and scrot you need delivered under plain cover to your door.
