Not shouted but the chaps behind me last night were bemoaning Pep Guardiola and how he has ruined football.

What has ruined football is managers and coaches that think they are Pep Guardiola and get their team to pass out from the back  with centre halves alongside the keeper at goal kicks.
Most teams are simply just not good enough to do it.
I'll leave it down to discussion whether that includes the Cobblers or not

Not shouted but a lot of the time blokes behind me spent at leat 15 minutes discussing which is further from Northampton Newquay in Cornwall or Newquay in Wales.
Most of the time that sort of chatter during a game gets on my box, however last night it was more interesting and stimulating than what was actually going down on the pitch.
It was that sort of game. Crowd not interested, players not interested

"Oh, we're really not playing well, really not playing well at all. Oh, well played!!"

We also had "Negative! Always negative! It's this manager; he just sits back and sits back. He's done it all season. He's rubbish!"

I was severely tempted to turn around and ask him if his hypothesis is true then how it was that we'd come to score more goals after the 90th minute than any other team in the top four divisions. The only reason I didn't was that it was a couple of weeks since I saw that stat and I'm not sure it's still true.

After McWazza slotted home in stoppage time I really wished I'd mentioned it!

We are not playing very well and not going to score in this game

Less than 30 seconds later Pinnock scored oh I knew that would happen

"Things shouted out by the knob head who sits behind his laptop" could be a feature!

First time in Sixfields history, the East Stand have attempted to get a song/chant going? *

* Inane squeals of "Cobblers' by a group of six year olds doesn't apply!

You’re describing most of the chants from the West Stand Upper aren’t you 🤭 plenty of Non league esque chants creeping in.

It was good to hear some volume from the East Stand. That’s where many of us started off 🙌🏽

I think I was the first to vocally call out here and in the stands how excruciatingly, non-league Adi adi adio is - so please don't include me in the West Upper assessment.
Luckily, yesterday and at Reading, myself and Super Will of Swindon put on a show... everywhere we go!  Wink

This is to the guy who’s been standing in the front row of the North Stand for the past few games.

Shouting Waghorn, you’re sh*T every touch was a bit funny as he missed a howler.

The next game you did it wasn’t that funny but meh.

Doing it to their keeper each touch he was when we didn’t test him at any point, was embarrassing.

Please kindly drop this comedy act for next season 😂

To the idiot sat behind me last night I'm glad I don't sit near you every game

Absolutely nothing was positive everything 1 of the academy players did he had a go at them for

And Hondermarck yes he didn't have agreeable game last night but please learn his name if you called him Hondermarsh once you did it 100 times he's only been a cobblers player nearly 2 years

Instead of tucking into the Pie, you should have had the courage to challenge me if you didn't like what I was saying, rather than demonstrating on here the skillset of a coward. Where were you post halftime, you never returned...

My apologies, I have the wrong person. That being said, I thought Licorish-Mullings & Liam Tomlinson both had good solid games. I wasn't sure about Neo Dobson but he improved in the 2nd half.

Proper Gentleman to offer an apology! Also your opinion on Neo is welcome. Some of the commentators were very impressed with Neo; giving the impression it was a 90min performance!🎭

Yes of course, I knew who I meant ref Josh Tomlinson but for some reason typed Liam... who has looked assured for me & seems to bely his age. Felt Neo looked to have more belief in the 2nd half using his stature and body more when protecting the ball & was clinical with the goals.
I guess the Phrase say what you see differs on personal interpretation...I should of course try to remember they are academy players.
