Lost their last four at the Kassam. 170 Stags tonight! * Make that three...tonight just seems like it! Just watched the highlights of the game. Their keeper seems very weak on crosses. Putting him under pressure could be key.

Not about tonight but I read yesterday that Carlisle have 9 games in 27 games or something. Sat/Tues all the way through to March 5th. We're the last in their busy little run. 89th minute equalisers, 'keepers scoring 94th minute equalisers, playing sides at the very end of horror runs....we;re being helped out here
We've also got Sat/Tues all the way to March 5th

The other day I looked at the fixture lists of our opponents during the busy spell we've got coming up. All of them are in the same boat as us...so we should be fine. I always think back to that time when we played Burton (last game for Sammo) thinking at the time that they would be knackered. They had played about a dozen games in 3 weeks or something stupid. They were 3-0 up after 30 minutes!

I also distinctly remember the 3-3 draw at their place in which Alex Nicholls scored an absolute peach to equalise late on

How long will it be before the fans of the teams below us (oxford, Mansfield etc) start to cheer us on hoping we take points of the teams directly around them? It would be quite interesting to see Oxford fans hoping we win

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible c***’... me!

Things change quickly in football, I remember after the Plymouth game one of their fans saying us and them would be fighting it out for the third automatic spot behind Oxford and Portsmouth! If we were to lose the next two tricky away games (which is more than possible) we would suddenly be the out of form team there to be picked off in the race for automatic promotion on other forums.

We've got about 5 of the bottom 6 to play I think. I like that.

Next 5 games to the end of February are pretty big. 4 of them are away from home and 3 against sides in the top 7

We'll win more than we'll lose or draw. Unless we implode. I'd love us to get the title. Love it. As long as we get promoted then mission accomplished.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Although results yesterday kept Plymouth and Oxford right on our tails it was a great day in terms of guaranteeing a top 3 finish. I said before kick off yesterday that 6 more wins should see us go up. I still think this is the case as none of the sides outside the top 3 seem to be putting together a real run.

Did you forget about Accrington? If they win their 2 games in hand they will only be a point behind Oxford.

That's a lot of games to squeeze in though with what I imagine to be a smallish squad

Agree, we'll only have ourselves to blame if it goes wrong from now on in. Accrington haven't given in just yet though, and if I was them, I'd be looking for automatic at the expense of either Oxford or Plymouth.

Promotion now is an absolute certainty with this squad. So to have oxford and Plymouth breathing down our necks in a title battle is no bad thing, if we were to get over the line and clinch the championship with 3 or 4 games to go, it would take the shine off the seasons finale. I want us to need to beat luton at home and travel to Portsmouth needing a point to make sure of the title in a 3 horse race, even if it would mean finishing runners up we wouldn't lose out on a classic season climax.

It's going to be wrapped up a long time before then. We'll go up at Exeter.
