Used to go the Birkbeck every lunchtime 30 years ago when working on flats nearby, fairviews.
After finishing up late one night, noticed orient had a game v Southend in the league cup, so in I went.
After paying and walking onto the terracing I was asked by a group of police what I had in my tool bag.. Other than the several chisels, Stanley knife, axe, jemmy bar and hammer.. Nothing to worry about! Not what you'd take into a football match circa 1985, thankfully they let me stay as long as I stood where they could see me Grin
Oh the days! First time for me at Orient was the FAC v Southampton back in 84...West Ham's ICF running riot. 86 with Northampton doing pretty much the same in their side stand.  West Ham again there, same season...but with 19,000 packed into Brisbane Rd. More off the field activities in 'that Carr' season for a 1-0 night win...and a shed load of others!  Wink

Tricky one tomorrow but I fancy us to get the job done. Right now we just look so confident, you can see the slight air of arrogance from some of the players when we're on top in games. Its refreshing to see a Cobblers side that knows they're a very good team and don't seem to fear any side in the division  Grin

I reckon a temporary fall from grace.

3-0 Orient. 1-0 HT.

Others events will include a lorry on fire on the M25 delaying most of us getting there on time.
Alan Knill will be sent off during the second half.
Programmes run out.

Could this be the long lost drawing scoreline that we have been unable to achieve in so many attempts?

Yes, 5 all. Get all of your money on it now and live easy off the profits for the rest of your days  Grin Either that or blow the lot in a celebration on the train back eating copious amounts of pies and drinking gallons of dodgy beer with the party of 7 friends that you attended the game with  Wink

Owing to family committments I now can't make the game tomorrow  Sad There's an adult ticket going for a tenner if anyone needs one .. my friend Mark will be collecting them from the ticket office at the ground and can handover. PM me if you want it. Cheers.

Were you sorting out their seating?  How much did it cost?

This is insane.

I know Orient have been decent recently but we've won 11 of our last 12 league games and it's 1st vs 6th. How the heck are we 2/1?

Agreed!

Cobblers, Plymouth (home to Mansfield) and Man Utd (away at Sunderland in the early) is my treble at 10/1

He will know that. As soon as he logs on next time there will be a box flash up in the middle of the screen saying that he has received a new personal message. There's no need to post it as well.
This goes for everybody. It's a waste of everybody's time telling them you've messaged them.

It is reassuring to know that everbrite has a ticket though. We wouldn't want him to get abused in the home end, would we?

Hate to contradict you Marquis, but actually it is worth posting to let someone know you have sent them a PM.
90% of the time I look at the Hotel End, or anyone forum for that matter, I never log in, I only log in if I feel a pressing need to post something, and I suspect in this busy world we live in, I am probably in the large majority of users with that.....

On an inter-related subject, (which I am sure you will tell me is in the wrong place!) it usually takes me about 3 attempts to log in each time, and when I try to post a message it usually requires 3 attempts at posting as the system automatically logs me out in the time it takes to type a message, even if the message is a few words...?

Everbrite, if you still need a ticket I am off in a moment to buy mine. Would you like me to buy an extra one for you?
