Watched 'the Big short' yesterday , thought it was really good.

I also watched Tyrannosaur again yesterday, it is Paddy Considine (Starred in 'dead man shoes') first film as a director. Its really dark but a great watch.

Yes, The Grand Budapest Hotel is excellent which is quite rare for a newish film in my personal opinion.

Is Downfall the film that the Hitler parodies use clips for?

Thats the one. It is rather good though. Bruno Ganz is fantastic.

Would also like to add Rush and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Yes it is, don't get me started on Peacock Place!

Grand Budapest is a continuation of great films by Wes Anderson. Moonrise Kingdom, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Rushmore all fantastic if you love the aesthetic cinematography of Budapest.

Do you know the type of film that eats it's way in to your noodle and surfaces for air in your thoughts every so often?

For me, this is one of those films...

Introduced by Mark Kermode

My favourite film, Withnail & I !

If anyone has recently seen 'The Lobster', another film by the same director Yorgos Lanthimos 'Dogtooth' is not for everyone, but personally think it's fantastic.
