Yes Pet Shop Boys and Erasure are "benders" but look across the carriage you may have been surprised.

While I think of it the trans Penine Express from Thornaby to York had a female driver.
Good job Benny Hill, Jim Davidson and Nigel Farage never notoced that one, on their way back to the 1950s

Wow we looked really bad in that highlights package!
The best thing in the whole game was Bu Bu Buchanan's defending at the far post after one cross from the right.
Killed it dead and with a behind the leg flick sent the attacker the wrong way, anybody else see that?

The highlight of the game was the reconstruction of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds when the Hartlepool goalie came under attack from a flock of seagulls in the second half.

certainty cooly taken, that's if he meant it Wink

Also those lads throwing chips and bits of burgers into the goal area causing 100s of seagulls to attack made me laugh.

That certainly wasn't a classic.

Too many long balls for Marquis to chase.

I think there's a slight danger of us becoming a bit one-dimensional if we continue to play 4-4-2 in Richards and O'Toole's absence. If they're both out then there's even more emphasis on Holmes to provide the creative spark and if he has an off-day then we could become a bit short of ideas.

Personally, I'd like to see us go back to 4-2-3-1 against Wimbledon with Holmes, Adams and D'ath in behind Collins as a central striker. I've found the continued preference for Martin over Adams a bit strange given the amount of assists the latter had contributed before his loss of favour. Martin is decent put I'm not convinced he's better than Adams or D'ath.

We've won ten games on the bounce playing 4-4-2, but I wonder if that's largely due to the superior hold-up play/goal threat provided by Richards and the ability to pass accurately and run the midfield displayed by O'Toole and Byrom. The question is whether you can replace players of these quality with highly competent but still ultimately inferior replacements (Taylor/Rose and Marquis) whilst still maintaining the same attacking threat. I reckon CW will stick with 4-4-2 so time will tell.

(I'm well aware that it seems slightly absurd to start a tactical debate about a side that's won ten in a row and played some excellent football Wink)

Wished I had done that Steve to be fair.
The Rat Race was a good idea in principle but they seemed shocked to have above 10 customers.
The Wetherspoons was as bland a one as I've seen and yes that does include the Moon on the Square.
The devil in me suggests that another crazy one to Exeter beckons in April but need a pass out from my partner first!
Exeter in contrast to Hartlepool is a brilliant day and night out...even after a 3-0 defeat! The Wetherspoons up the hill from St David's station has to be the best in the country!
Exeter night out...birth of of the 'Terry Hurlock Five'  Wink

I'd be amazed if Martin started on Tuesday. The polite description for his performance yesterday, was not good.

Due one like that.

York might have gone a similar way had they not been so inept.

Credit Hartlepool though, played well in fairness.

To the three F*ckwits the train back to York and en route to Newport Pagnall ( And pretty much the 1950s hearing their rascist sexist homophobic comments). Yes Pet Shop Boys and Erasure are "benders" but look across the carriage you may have been surprised. Go back to Pagnall and tell everyone you sat drinking with one of those benders. We are allowed everywhere now you know even at football and in pubs.

Did they forget to mention Bronski Beat or The Communards? Was Finedons own Richard Coles on the train? Fuckwits indeed as you cant start talking about queer bands without mentioning these great bands too.

Was it this train?
