Here goes the self appointed No 1 Cobblers fan again (he starts all the songs you know) . Our greatest ever season (results wise) and it was nothing to do with how good we were, it was just everybody else was sh*te. and you complain about other Cobblers fans....... and you missed my point.... Many people on here moan about nothing..... you stated I have never seen a season like that season...infactual....I did see it. We were fantastic that season....yes...brilliant....exciting....goalscoring.... if we let in 3 we'd score 4 etc etc. I was just trying to fit in with the feeling of this board and slag the team off... I will continue to moan.....my positive outlook is over....on here anyway. This is the place were nice people can be arse-olies....and arse-olies can be anon... So feck it... I hate this club, I hate the board, I hate Sammo, we are crap, the ground is crap, the food is crap, the support is crap, our history is great (I get accused of rose tinted glasses), our history is crap ( I get accused of being inaccurate).... The joy of a message board...whatever you write...someone will disagree.....and some will agree. Choooooooo choooooooooo! |

Of our 23 opponents in that division, 13 now play at a higher level than we do, Colchester being one of them.
If you look at the small list I provided, there is nobody in our current league that can even get close to a Preston, Wolves, Swansea, Cardiff or Burnley.
You know I find it really sad that people like you Drilling, Banana, Karl and everbrite who all "claim" to be Cobblers supporters could ever try to justify their opinion by demeaning and cheapening what was one of the finest achievements in the Cobblers entire history. You should all be ashamed.
A) What opinion am I trying to justify? B) Where have I tried to cheapen anything? They were s*** then and are s*** now. By your crazy logic, we should be very proud of beating Dagenham because they now play at a higher level than us. |

I give you a selection of clubs now in higher divisions than us including the likes of Preston, Wolves, Cardiff, Burnley and Swansea, all far bigger clubs than us, and you CHOOSE to pick out Colchester, ignoring completely the point I was making that when we did win the Division 4 Championship it was against worthy opponents, not the current riff-raff that make up the numbers. Still, I don't care if you have no respect for what we once achieved, I know exactly how big that achievement was, I was there, every game. Lucky me, eh? |

You know you're right, with the bad weather spoiling the golf, I've not got a lot on.  Still, off to France in March, Turkey in May and America in September so plenty to look forward to.  |

Eventually it becomes the case that we start playing crap and win... still can't please some...
This season, we WON'T get both... yes, my expectations have lowered, but (no football cliche intended) we can only beat what is put in front of us.
