Idiot. Of course you don't have to be there. I read the team sheet from over 100 miles away and had my doubts. You can't play three centre forwards and expect every necessary role to be covered.
That is why people are saying that the lack of legitimate wide midfielders was contributory to conceding the free kicks that led to the goals.
They may be right, they may be wrong but surely even you, with your man on the spot, better than anyone else, view of the game would have to concede that a bonafide midfielder would deal with any defensive duties better than a centre forward?
This has really got to you has it not? Incidentally your post above is based on sheer conjecture especially the bit "
They may be right, they may be wrong". Nobody is suggesting that CW's selection was spot on. There are two facts I can rely on ; firstly CW's selection was not a complete failure as the centre forwards contributed significantly to the point gained and secondly our two centre halves should have defended better. Anything else is sheer conjecture on your part. If it helps I am sorry that I asked you to comment on Coolcats initial query; so I wont respond to any more of your prolonged justification posts. Thanks.
