bloody hell, not every penny you spend on matchday has to go to the club
Quite right. But I'd rather it benefitted the cobblers than the saints.

Is the pitch OK? Flooding all round the area.

Looked ok when I collected my Mansfield tickets today, next few days are supposed to be fairly dry in any case. Shouldn't be a problem.

I have never been to a Cambridge game at Sixfields where they haven't caused trouble. Usually a punch up at the corner of the West and South, or up on the bank near the Tavern.

I find that when I'm making a winter vegetable casserole a mixture of potato, carrots, parsnip as a base followed by peas, sweetcorn and chopped onions works well. I always add pearl barley as it is one of my favourites.

Split lentils will provide a tasty protein addition.

Thanks. I must say I've never tried them in a casserole. Il use some in the slow cooker tomorrow and report back.

Get the ones that don't need overnight soaking, they're a pain. Lidl sell the red lentils that cook straight into a casserole, and possibly the green lentils ditto. Any of the Asian shops up Kettering Road should have them, or you can go to Sainsbury's and pay a bit over the odds. Right, back to topic - Cambridge have been a side that have given us many bad shocks in the past, but actually I think we're simply too good for them and whatever they try we'll be fine...although there's always the worry of red cards or blatantly poor refereeing decisions that can swing games.

Robert Lewis is the referee for this one.....
Bit of a checkered Cobblers past.... reffed our game at Bradford in 2011 and dished out TEN yellows and a red! Last Cobblers game was the 2-1 win over Morecambe at Sixfields last season, has brandished 6 yellows against Fleetwood and 5 against Rotherham (twice) in years gone by.
This season he has reffed 20 games and shown 64 yellows and three reds. Not reffed a game in four weeks, and his last four games were all at Championship level.
Could he be classed as a "homer"?? Out of those 20 games this season the away team has only won once!!

Red lentils don't need soaking. Rinse them and add to your tasty broth, casserole or curry. Cooking time from 15 - 20 minutes.

Think it's something you'd have to research...clearly sound like you're out of the loop! If you think we have our fair share of 'toughies' (most out of date cringeable word heard since don't know when) then maybe give it a miss...even Wycombe embarrassed our young frontline!

Depends on your definition of trouble, not sitting down is considered causing trouble to some.
Cringeable? Back to the frontline for you.

Some lentils do, some don't. Most red ones can be used without, but in the end just read the instructions. Red are great for casseroles and curries because they thicken the mix and cook quickly. I hate that Quinoa stuff that upper-middle-class people have suddenly taken to. Right. Must concentrate on the pleasure of following the Cobblers and forget cookery.

I'm putting off the casserole for today as the sun is out Il be having it sometime during the week when it gets cold again!! Got the lentils and looking forward to trying it. Just a matter of deciding what stock cube to use now! I prefer the gel style ones just pop it on top and away you go. I think knorr do one with rosemary which sounds very nice.
