POTS Table
Points Podium Finishes
O’Toole 55 22 Smith 28 11 Cresswell 20 9 McDonald 18 9 Buchanan 17.5 10 Byrom 16 9 Holmes 15 8 Diamond 13.5 7 Taylor 12.5 6 Adams 12 8 Collins 7 4 Brisley 4.5 3 Calvert-Lewin 4 3 D'Ath 3.5 4 Hoskins 3.5 3 Marquis 3.5 3 Moloney 3.5 2 Watson 3.5 2 Furlong 3 2 Martin 3.5 3 Lelan 2.5 2 Richards 2 3 Potter 2 1 Balding 1 1 Rose 1 1 Prosser 0.5 1
Congratulations to John-Joe O'Toole who is the winner of this season's POTS. Adam Smith can still catch him on points but can't overhaul him on podium finishes. JJOT has already beaten the POTS record for number of points going back to when I signed up for this message board in 2008 (Jackman got 50 points one year IIRC but no-one else has ever come close), and no-one has ever wrapped it up with so many games to spare before either. Probably the biggest zero-to-hero story in recent Cobblers memory.
Votes in by next Friday please.

John Marquis - won so much ball, constant effort and a cracking finish.

Marquis for me too, a great work rate as well as scoring the all important goal.

Many 5 out of 10's today, but I am going to go for Holmes just ahead of Balding who has found a bit of form recently. Holmes played and excellent ball for Moloney to run onto for the goal and didn't stop running all game.

Balding has had a terrible season ... only 1 point must be easily Balding's worst.
HOLMES for me for the constant workrate.

No stand outs today, the usual stars subdued. Probably Marquis for constant effort. A mention for Prosser who I thought was OK.

Diamond - although I thought Marquis played well both in attack and defence. Took his goal well too.

Marquis.........workrate going forwards and covering back too......
Thought Holmes did ok in spells, but didn't really feature in the last 30 minutes and his blatant diving is going to get him a reputation!!

Smith
Smith for me too. About the only player not to make an unforced error.
