Its our job as fans to help drum up interest !
I will be letting all the casual fans that I know missed out first time around, know as soon as they are on sale.
Which is what KT requested at his inaugural meeting so well done GD for reminding us all on this. One or two negative comments above so hope they can now support Brand Cobblers.

Agree if we can't sell out now any talk of further expansion is pointless.
Sorry but utter tosh. After years of mismanagement and all the recent bad press it will even with this success take time. There has been no real expansion only the return of seats so it's as you were. If next season we are successful and games do not sell out (sales not capacity) you may have a point but until then no. If the Cobblers are in the top six next season in division one you we see a different demand for tickets from not just home supporters but away supporters too. As a footnote M ongs will have accommodated between 150-200,000 away supporters in all competitions by the end of the season, I doubt we will get anywhere near 10,000. That's about £4m, a lot of money you would lose by not expanding.

Spot on. Speaking hypothetically, if we were to have a couple of top 10 finishes in League One, maybe combined with a couple of decent cup runs I think the demand would be great. Its just after the past few seasons languishing around the lower part of League 2, plus the disappointment at Wembley, the fan base has become so apathetic. What you also have to factor in is the size of some of the clubs in the league above. The likes of Peterborough, Sheff Utd, Coventry would all easily bring 2000 to Sixfields if they could. Include the possibility of Mk Dons and Pompey being there next year as well, you're looking at some very high demand from some away clubs. I still firmly believe the fanbase is there for the cobblers, its just about trying to wipe away the disappointment of the last few years and re-energizing those that are currently apathetic. The performance of the team so far has done a lot to get the ball rolling.

Agree completely. A lot will hinge on how next season pans out. Success and positive PR from the media = more fans. It's not just home fans, when your flying at the top and getting the media attention more away supporters want to attend, if only to see what the fuss is all about!

I would suggest leaving a good number of the seats closest to the South Stand season ticket free (maybe even up to half way) to enable the increased Third Division away supporters to overspill into there when required? I assume that this already happened for a limited number in the old East Stand?

Yes, this used to happened before and I'd assume that it will happen again next season. Unless there is some crazy, unforeseen high demand for east stand season tickets.

Yeah when you click to buy your ST online it doesn't give you that part of the East Stand as an option.

I think that's quite a negative way of thinking. Much better to sell those seats to home fans. The home capacity was reduced in the East Stand with the loss of Rows. The away Capacity has been increased.

Sorry if it's a bit hard for you Matthew. In simple terms. The new East Stand has resulted in less seats being available for Home supporters and more available for Away supporters. So instead of thinking about giving more seats to away fans lets get more home supporters in.
