I honestly believe the game at the real St.James Park will be the day we win the league AND get promoted.
It'll be apt following our incredible away support this year that we'll do it on the road. I'm not sure how many tickets we've sold for the game (last I heard was c.500)....but I imagine there'll be a surge next Saturday night. Rovers for me , will be the club to bring our incredible run to an end. Exeter, will feel the backlash.

I still think we will get promoted next week, but win the league at Exeter.

Should it come down to the Exeter game (promotion / title), I am a bit concerned after watching their highlights yesterday as it appears there will be 3 separate barriers from the away end to scale in order to get onto the playing area to celebrate with the players... particularly as I have b0ll0cksed my knee up playing football the other night.

Exeter fan I know, says they generally struggle at home, with fans getting on the team's back the moment things aren't going well. That was said prior to their Devon Derby win y'day however!

A quick check shows Rovers, along with Crawley and Exeter are below us in the table. Will be wrapped up this weekend.

We could get over both finishing lines by drawing the remainder of games. On our and Roves' current form, would certainly take a draw!

Personally I hope we do it at any game BUT the Exeter one - that's the only match left that I'm not going to!

Again top 2 teams in form table Rovers and Exeter. Then its Stanley, Pool, Portsmouth, Yeovil, then us. So 4 of the last 6 games we play are against teams winning more than us, 3 away. With not being at our best against Newport, Stevenge, Mansfield and Notts County all teams below us in form table, and not forgetting the wonders of Ricky Holmes who dug us out a hole in 3 of them games. Its not beyond the realms of belief that our party could be put off for a bit. However who knows.

Bloody hell, I'm beginning to question whether or not we'll reach the play-offs, let alone get promoted or be <gulp> champions. Normal Cobblers service resumed then. Promise so much and then fail to deliver. Why couldn't somebody have told me back in August that we had no chance of being champions - I'd have believed them, we've got years of experience of that being the case.
