I'd have thought that might be broken this coming Saturday.

Going to need to sell an awful lot of East Stand tickets between now and Saturday for us to break the record!

Assuming we do win the league by then, then I would fully expect the trophy to be presented to us after the game. Even if we win it this week or next I doubt they would do it at the earlier Crawley game. I'm not sure how we received the trophy in 86/87 as we only confirmed the title after the final home game even then I think it was only on goal difference with a 9 point buffer with 3 away games to come. It was a rubbish glass trophy.

Would only be a record if Luton sell their tickets, as they'll have nothing to play for perhaps it isn't a given?

They've one of the best away followings in the division, probably second only to Portsmouth so i imagine they'd sell out for a game half an hour away .

Would fully expect the trophy to be presented after the Luton game irrespective of when we win it.

Didn't we parade the not so impressive "Today" trophy before the Crewe game?

Couldn't see the trophy from the HE anyway, too many tears of joy!

When we beat Crewe 2-1 at the CG we didn't get the hideous 'Today League' glass trophy as Preston still could catch our goal difference. We then had 3 away games to finish the season and the trophy wasn't given out on an away ground so we had to go to the Guildhall steps to watch Trevor Morley el tel waving it around. It was an awful piece of square glass on a wooden plinth. Whoever designed that had no idea how players celebrate with a 'trophy' (Collins will lead the way  Grin).

This time the players must make sure they receive it after Luton and get to cherish the memories like we will.

We need to start a list on the times that people are arriving on Saturday.
Fans have been asked to "stagger their journeys"
So unless we have some type of list this will be impossible  Grin Grin

Remember these time slots will fill very quickly. Taking that approx 20,000 people will arrive in 3 hours that only allows 111 people per minute. Get your slot now  Grin
