Working in London has only served to increase my already active dislike for cyclists (a gross generalisation I know; there are good and bad cyclists out there but a lot of them fall into the **** category). It seems that pedestrian crossings or traffic lights in general don't apply to them and they can zig zag between pedestrians crossing the road as they like, often shouting for people to get out of their way as they do so. Also, they assert the right to take up as much of the width of the road as a car. Fair enough, but they should remember that when they reach a queue of traffic at the lights and suddenly decide that they can fit into a 6 inch gap to squeeze down the side of all the waiting cars. It's also the total disregard a lot of them have for their own safety; only this morning I saw some dozy tosser on a Boris Bike veer across two lanes of traffic, forcing a pair of taxis to brake to prevent hitting him. He was utterly oblivious. If they want to risk their own lives then that's on them, but spare a thought for the poor sod who has to live with it if he ends up going over them! Rant over.

Well said back of the net, Its been a long time since the green cross code adds.I think the Goverment should put on tv highway code adds Showing what you can and can not do.Kids are growing up thinking its a game, because no one stops them . Its got worse lately with people on bikes with head phones on ,no one want to see anyone hurt.

When I were a lad .... we lived in fear of the local bobby catching us riding a bike on a footpath or without lights. Now everyone does, not just kids. Blokes in full gear on proper bikes on the pavement when there is a cycle lane, and yes with earphones on. Stupid people on these daft tiny bikes whizzing round at night........

I understand peoples hatred of using the pavement, running red lights ect but I ride a bike to work and think people can be **** ***** to cyclists.
I have nearly been killed maybe 3-4 times in the last 3 weeks by people running red lights or pulling into me because they haven't looked before they swing round a car making an manoeuvre.
People don't realise how dangerous intentionally cutting up a cyclist is either, I have been doing 25-30mph down hill before and someone has cut me up for literally no reason and shouted "**** Cyclist" at me. If I hadn't of had disk breaks I would have gone over the handle bars and probably broken my neck.
People who shout at kids under 13 about riding on pavements are also *****, get a **** life.

If its that dangerous I'd stop doing it personally.
