If it's anything like Bolton town centre it'll be full of lads in their late teens full of roids and **** ****, drinking cheap shots after preloading on vodka till 11pm.  Accompanied by a smattering of slags.  That's why we all stay local or go to Manchester.

From the sound of that, maybe we should apply for twin town status.

Ha ha - we're twinned with Le Mans.  We pay tribute the the 24 hour rally by having a 24 hour go kart race around Leverhulme Park.   Smiley

Incidentally the starred out words on my last post referred to sub standard benzoylmethylecgonine.  What's with the censorship on here.  I can't even say Danny s***tu.

What about Sc***horpe?

Northampton is twinned with Poitiers - never been and Marburg - absolutely gotgeous university town an hour from Frankfurt. What the exchange delegates must think...
Living put of town for a few years I actually think that ther's some decnt places to go in teyn. Phipss, Malt Shovel, Hygge, Garibaldi, Princess Alexandra all good craft beer/ real ale places.
Beat that Bolton Smiley

Northampton town centre is, in parts, an absolute jungle on a Friday and Saturday night. Having pride in your local area is one thing but surely you can recognise it isn't perfect? Being offended by someone pointing out that Northampton is a bit rough and ready, I find bizarre tbh. Unless you've only ever lived in Northampton and therefore have no point of reference.

Get over it Cool

A lot of towns in the North West are not that big but still support a league team Bury, Rochdale, Bolton Accrington Burnley Blackburn.
A high % of each town's population turn out in each case.
BW  are a bigger club in a smaller town.
Back on topic. Im really hoping Wilder stays but I'm clueless wether he will or not and that is pretty much the same for everyone who posts on this site ( Unless of course Hallam really is Wilder).
