Steve Having had some weird mild tummy pains myself for a day or so, I thought I would enquire as to your own ongoing giblet situation?! How are your bits? Are you still stuck in a hospital in Spain, or are you back in the UK ? Whats the prognosis? Will you be able to get to Luton or Portsmouth matches? BW

Still in Son Espaces hospital Mallorca after a nasty relapse that was far worse than the first event. More of my giblets missing, look emaciated (yes I know I needed it!) and last night a special line into my large vein started to put in nutrients. Lonv path but determined to do it. Tough for Kate too who's back out here. Exemplary hospital treatment. Phoned my 15-year old to tell him to enjoy today at Sixfields and ended up bawling my eyes out. I'm not going to see us play again this season. UP THE COBBLERS!

I'm really sorry to hear this. This is one of those days where everyone who has suffered with the defeats and s*** performances over the years need to be there to witness that rarity - The Mighty Cobblers lifting a trophy. Get well soon. Perhaps we'll be run away Champions again next season and dedicate to you and others who can't for various reasons be there to have seen this season. To absent friends.

Gutted for you steve(no pun intended). The main thing is that you get yourself right and can therefore watch the cobblers for many years to come. Football is secondary compared to your health. You can be sure we will shout/sing for you. Get well soon.

Hope you are well enough to get home soon.
I missed the great Bristol Rovers game years ago through being hospitalised.

Get well soon Steve. You are in the best place and they will ensure that you have years and years left to spend with your wife, family and the Cobblers.

Unbelieveable - Chris Wilder let my 15 year old record him sending me a video get well message and I've just received it in my hospital bed in Mallorca. Brilliant!

Best wishes from me too. I've spent quite a while in hospitals also. I hope you're over the painful part, and just have the boredom to get through.

Thank you all. Means a lot. I'm still staggered that in the mayhem of presentation day at Sixfields, Chris Wilder was prepared to break off to record a video message for my lad to send over to me. Unbelievable customer service!
