Don't forget that ainsworth was a good, creative winger in his career - as some have previously posted I think that circumstances and budget at Wycombe have necessitated a more defensive style. I'd still prefer ardley but that would be dependent on the length of Wimbledon's involvement in the playoffs - if they get to the final I can't see us hanging around until the end of the month on the off chance

Its L1 experience we (may) need. Who is Micky Adams currently with? Lives in Market Harborough still.

Ainsworth is well liked by Wilder and has been at Wycombe for four years on scant recourse. He has a bit about him and would win the hair battle with Appleton hands down.

John Coleman is a good shout if Accrington don't go up. Plays the right kind of football and can work within a budget.

Russell Slade just got moved upstairs at Cardiff. Got the right experience and history with the club. Probably can't afford him though.

Considering the chairman has said on the radio he'd be very surprised to see him again I think it's probably okay to have this thread.

Gotta look at the Cheltenham town manager, changed the whole squad apart from one player, won the league with 101 points only losing 5 games , their fans love him !!! Can't remember his name tho !!!

He is lined up for Oxford after Applebum goes to Celtic.

Neil Ardley or John Coleman. If KT listens to Buchs and Nicky Adams, a dark horse might be Richie Barker, who followed Knill at Bury and is currently head coach at MK Dons.

I'd love John Coleman or Paul Tisdale.
Stuart Gray or Gareth Ainsworth would also be acceptable.
