He seemed a fan of the loan market, not a coincidence that the one time we go up as Champions we didn't have that many loan players meaning a tighter nit group. I for one hope we don't go into the loan market too heavily and that they are just squad players if so.
Thoughts?

I do hope he meant older because that made me chuckle. Younger just makes me sad

Is this our first Welsh manager since Dave Bowen? If so, hope he can do what DB did.

I'd say Yates is the only person who didnt have any impact, Watson seemed to be held back by his injury.

Loan players this season have been asked to simply slot in. I've talked about templates on many occasions, we have them across the team. So when we bring in someone from the outside, it is easy to accommodate them straight away.
In previous seasons, we have used loan players as part of a rebuilding process. Which doesn't work. After a short period they return back to their clubs and the process starts again.
Also, this season the loan players have come in specifically to plug gaps left by injuries or out of form contracted players. Each time they have been justified. So it doesn't detrimentally effect the team spirit.
