What a joy, and how great that Bayo hit the second from the spot!
Despite Wankleman taking the club away from its community and carting it to Milton Keynes in one of the most outrageous acts in footballing history, the real community of fans has never lost belief and I am so happy for them today. What immense commitment to climb through the lower leagues to now be in the same division as MK, who could never achieve Football League status of their own accord the proper way.
When we played at Wimbledon earlier this season you could feel the belief through their whole club and I congratulate them wholeheartedly.

Yes, but Bayo has revealed once again who he is in it for...

Well done Wimbledon , they were the much better team throughout the game. Plymouth just didn't turn up.

Love Bayo...but gutted! Wanted Plymouth all the way...great fans and fanbase, great city for an awayday, weekend. Instead, visit to the utter hole of Norbiton on the cards!
Lets not get dewy eyed over 'victims' AFC, they've milked it, well more than a certain U.S backed country near Palestine! Their treatment of Kingstonians and now Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium needs much scrutiny. Also, lets not forget that ridiculously disallowed goal for Stanley at Wimbledon. It should have stood...leaving AFC not even in the playoffs!

Agree 100% Coolcat.
Fed up with this Wimbledon love in.
Would much rather of had Plymouth in League one rather than the parasites from South London.

Wimbledon finished six points clear of 8th placed Leyton Orient with a superior goal difference.

With a 6 pt cushion over Leyton Orient it didn't matter that much to AFCW - they would have had to play Bristol Rovers not Accrington in the semi, however.

I've got to admit my first thought when Wimbledon were confirmed winners was that's one relegation spot gone next season.

Yeah I thought I'd check to see how many litres of ejaculate are festooned over people's keyboards after that. Wimbledon are a dull club from a dull part of non descript featureless London who many neutrals would love to see beat us next season. Bayo is from another era. And before everyone furthers the vinegar strokes by mentioning his donated shirt - well, I gave £20 to the Alzheimer's charity the other day - please PM me if you would like to suck the toe jam off my feet as a result.

Hope they go down next season and are one day replaced by a club in the football league in a nicer location - Forest Green perhaps

So whats so wrong with being right next to a turd farm then?

I am glad that Wimbledon won mainly because it means Plymouth with Derek (Cobblers were fortunate) Adams stay down  Grin

Im based in SE3 and its fantastic this has happened - with Millwall staying put as well yesterday that now gives me 3 local away days. Fact is Plymouth just didn't do enough after a great early season  - well played Dons on the day. Maybe now MK will drop the ridiculous Dons part of their name.

Ignoring the bleating from all the usual cynical f***ers, well done to AFC Wimbledon! Fantastic to see justice done and to see them claim their place in the same league that the thieving MK toe rags will be starting in next year. Well earned!

Justice done ? Really. What about the Greyhounds and Stock cars that look like they will lose their Stadium. Let's have some " justice " for them too.

The point is is that AFC have got to L1 on merit anything else about their past is irrelevant. All this moral posturing is a bit OTT!

Trouble is it means another trip to Wimbledon (Kingstonian).

A low-roofed shed from which you can see very little.
