From Sky Bet. 11th favourite to win, just behind P*sh. Would appear sky bet agree Oxelona were the best team in league 2 last year!

Sheffield Utd 6/1
MK Dons 10/1
Bradford 10/1
Charlton 12/1
Millwall 12/1
Oxford 12/1
Bolton 12/1
Coventry 14/1
Walsall 14/1
Peterborough 14/1
Northampton Town 16/1
Gillingham 16/1
Southend 20/1
Rochdale 20/1
Sc***horpe 20/1
Bristol Rovers 20/1

not sure what is more boring, the one time Appleton said they were the best team, or the time and time again it is repeated on this website?!

obviously, I am sure, and it is the latter.

If we still had Wilder I think we would of been slightly higher the list, obviously they expect us to take some time to gel again with a new manager.

Do we get in now before we shorten or leave it for now expecting us to drift?

I'd certainly be casting my bets with Bet365, whoever you're backing. Much more generous for most teams. Cobblers on offer at 28/1 rather than 16/1.

Sheff Utd 7/1
Millwall 10/1
Bradford 11/1
MK Dons, Charlton 12/1
Coventry, Peterborough, Oxford, Bristol Rovers, Bolton 14/1
Sc***horpe 16/1
Walsall 20/1
Gillingham 25/1
Northampton 28/1
Shrewsbury, Wimbledon, Fleetwood 33/1
Swindon, Chesterfield, Rochdale 40/1
Oldham, Southend, Bury 50/1
Port Vale 66/1

I love the stat about Cov not having finished in the top six of any division they've played in since 1970. Haha

16:1 is a miserable price - in fact the whole narrow spread of the pack shows the bookies neither know or care much about betting in this league at this stage in the year.

We were also 16-1 prior to last season in the fourth division, is that an improvement?

You are quite possibly correct, I feel with a couple of defenders and a striker, I also think we will be there  or there abouts

To make a marquee signing you need to be intent!

I got 20/1 at the start of the season and 25/1 during the 'difficulties'

Think we will be lucky to finish top half, so 20-1 is about right.

25/1 now on sky bet
I wonder what the odds are on the Cobblers going straight back down?

It's not that sky bet think Oxford were a better team than us last year it's that they haven't lost any of their best players whist we have.
