Didn't we train there anyway?
It's where our players had their wallets and keys stolen from a changing room, and several of their cars stolen...some of which were never recovered

If we don't have 4G we will never retain and/or attract new players...
Sorry I don't understand, why?

I've done some digging into the whole 3G or 4g pitch thing.  It would appear that the pitch is likely to be of the latest technology.  However people often still refer to the pitches as 3G that's just become the lingo that people use.  The pitch is likely to be 5th or 6th gen technology.  4g is old hat now but for some reason people talk about 3 or 4g

People who dig up pitches should be prosecuted. Angry

Which is another reason we need to get out of Europe; bloody foreign students coming here and thieving off everyone! Shocked

I'm joking, but I'll duck and cover anyway Wink Grin

Out of interest what was so great about that old training ground?  I was born in the 80s so know little of it but I've seen this comment before that we had a great facility and then sold it when we were struggling financially.

It was the old Bacal club and grounds, now known as the Obelisk Centre (I think?). It's all still there, just a spit from the Obelisk on Obelisk Rise in Kingsthorpe. Sold it for one-hundred-forty thousand as I remember.
