Not just because of Ricky Holmes but i would really like to get Charlton out of the way. Their squad is starting to look really strong and im hoping for 1st game jitters so we can grab us a cheeky 3 points.

Never been one to get excited about the first game. Usually hoping the big games aren't on weekends i'm away or on Tuesday nights!
I would prefer it to be a beatable team away to settle the nerves if we win and if we lose its away so not a big issue. Port Vale maybe

The League Cup (or EFL Cup as it is to be called from now on seemingly.......) is also drawn tomorrow I believe. This could also be the Cobblers first home game. If I reacll correctly I believe NTFC are, amazingly, placed in the northern section, and could be looking forward to a local game against ..............Hartlepool, Preston, Blackpool!

Are the seeded sides in the draw? If so it'll be Sheffield United Grin And first league game, we'll draw against one of the seaside clubs Wink
