Tuesday night for Posh away is a bit of a stinker.

My thinking is it's because it'll be on Sky Sports.....

Why's it rubbish? Sheffield is a good city from what I can gather.

Sheffield is a great city, but New Year's Eve is not the best afternoon for a piss up at the football. Not for those of us intending to be on the lash at night Grin

All the games in L1 are at midday on the last day of the season so that TV/radio can concentrate on one league at a time. I think L1 gets the short straw.
Thanks Monty

Some real stinkers there. Unfortunate Tuesday nights, Boxing Day and NYE away trips. And playing P*sh twice in a month is just bizarre.

Go home Football League, you're drunk.

At least we'll be there when Ricky Holmes is unveiled to the Charlton fans. That'll be nice.

Playing Sh*tboro twice within the space of 5 games and 4 weeks in the first half of the season is very bizarre. 3 away games in December, only 1 at home. From Oct 18th to Dec 31st we have only 4 home games but 7 away. That's too much of an inbalance.

I've got one away game each month, apart from January when there's none and April when there's two.

That will be my quota for next season

Looks as hit and miss as any other year. I don't really care what order we play the games in. I'm more interested in the result...

This whole seeding thing is stupid, doesn't give smaller clubs a chance, what's the point of that?!

Shouldn't be seeded at all. I actually like the League Cup in terms of something to be in, but seeding is silly.

I agree and suspect it's all been organised by a secret 'Do the 92' club

I agree with WadeyCobbler that the fixture list is too imbalanced.
Why clusters of home games, clusters of away?
Why away games at Rochdale, Bolton, Bury (a few miles from each other) all close together at end of season?
Why away on both Boxing Day and New Year's Eve?

It's not rocket science just needs a bit of planning.
Maybe they rush it, why not wait longer and get it better?

I agree. We get through the first round every season. The seeding makes it easy for us  Grin

Nope. Was looking forward to that one but will now be giving it a miss because it's on New Years Eve.
