41 years ago today, I went to Castle Station, boarded a train to Taunton via Birmingham New Street and have never lived in Northampton since.

60 years ago on this very day in the upstairs back bedroom of number 16 St Michaels Mount. Mum and Dad, born in Ireland, were still very poor immigrants and could only afford to rent rooms on the first floor. Very proud Northamptonian and Anglo Irish man me.
