Entries are now closed, there will be 2 prizes this year, the first prize will be £100 with £50 for the runner up. I'll do the first "leader board" at the start of October. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be added together and divided by the number of people in the tie.

As we go into 2017, Daniel Ellis has hit the front with 59 points, he is followed by Neil Chapman, Jonny Meek, Sean Maher and James Averill all on 55 points and 1 point behind them are Vince Battams, Ross Marriott and Tim Hankins.
Things could change after the FA Cup this weekend !

Daniel Ellis is still in front with 59 points followed by Tom Abbott on 57, then on 54 come Jonny Meek and James Averill. Vince Battams, Brian Dunn and Tim Hankins have 53, Dave Shurville has 52 and Jim Caddick and Phil Luscombe are on 51 points.
Only a few have Southampton to win the League Cup compared with quite a few for Man Utd and that could change the picture.

Daniel Ellis is still out in front with 57 points, 3 clear of Jonny Meek. Then comes Rod Luck with 52 and Sean Maher and James Averill with 50 points. Plenty of time for it to change still.

We have a new leader, James Averill with 42 points just 1 point in front of Jonny Meek. Then comes Ross Marriott on 39, Vince Battams, Gareth Ellis and Rod Luck on 37 and L.Doherty and Martyn Hudson on 36.
Still 10 questions awaiting resolution so it's still all to play for.

Just to check. You will only publish the names of the top five or six won't you? No need to go to all the trouble of listing everyone's results is there now?

Thanks for waiting, I've been on holiday. Well we have a tie for first place, with 50 points, between Gareth Ellis and Jonny Meek, so they will both receive £75. On 45 points we had Mark Baker, Ross Marriott and James Averill and on 40 points Neil Chapman, Vince Battams, Daniel Ellis, Sean Maher, Chris Hankins, Tim Hankins and Leigh Richards.
Thank you to everyone who entered and I'll start on next seasons quiz very soon.
