Come on...

Huh??

Any chance you could expand on that?

I don't expect anyone will get on Adam's case - I am not suggesting they should. But i'm suggesting they will be on Kenji as soon as he makes a mistake. I just don't get it. How difficult is it to support the players in claret shirts and try and negatively impact the opposition players?

a pi55 poor summer of recruitment and reinvestment.

Do you seriously believe that? Other than the arguably irreplaceable Ricky Holmes, I believe that each player Page has brought in are an upgrade on the ones they replaced. A few examples:
- M Taylor replaced Rose
- Revell replaced Collins
- Anderson replaced Adams
- Zakuani replaced Cresswell
- McCourt replaced J Taylor
- JJ Hooper replaced Marquis

WasRambo has summed it up nicely already. The short story is that Smith is proven and makes few mistakes so is forgiven the those he makes, Gorre is s***e and the fans are sick of him already as he offers nothing productive.

Spot on.

Man for man we have improved on what we had with almost every signing... with the exception of losing Ricky... however we all know that he can't be replaced without breaking the bank/wage structure of the club - not gonna happen.

Also - if we win on Saturday we'll be on 14 points, same total as we were on after 9 games last season in a higher division.

Near enough this time last year we'd just lost to bloody Dagenham in front of 4,032 fans at Sixfields.

Our last home game was watched by 5,538. We are a division higher and we're rid of Cardoza!

He was better again last night, but still poor defensively.

At least he is getting less scared of putting his foot in, even if every big tackle is mistimed. He tried taking on his man down the wing a few times, even if his

Sometimes I swear people are watching a different game to me.....

Look forward to seeing who becomes the next "boo boy" if he gets sent back to Swansea in January.

Yes I do because I said it, let me reset your thoughts for you, first JJ hooper is on loan and hasn't really played a league game yet, Revell is an excellent signing as I commented on at the time when Shoemaker was saying he wasn't good enough, Taylor was just pure luck and had nothing to do with our hapless scouting / recruiting.
Zakuani is decent too but is he any better than concrete Rod? Is Anderson better than Adams in both cases no.
What really is concerning is if Revell gets injured we are in trouble, Rico looks slow and carrying his injury and age, that's what I mean by pi55 poor, we never replaced Ricky even though we gave him away for £120k and not enough up front.

I'll reserve judgment on Anderson and Hooper but yes agree with others.

After watching him yesterday I do see what people are on about. He has glimpses of a speedy little winger but he's very lightweight and has an awful end product.

I'd love someone to explain why Adam Smith will get everyone's support for last night's errors, yet Kenji will get slated on Saturday as soon as he makes a wrong turn or misses the target with a shot. When did getting on your own teams player ever have a positive effect?

Smith has proved himself.
If Gorre was an NTFC player, we'd have loaned him out.

Having watched Gorre and Harry Invisibleman for 10 games now .......... its easy to see why we went after Cox and Moncur on deadline day.

If we can grind it out till January and replace those 2 with 2 proven quality additions i think we will fly up the league.

Our current problem is we have 5 players for 2 positions and none of them cut it (Lawson,  Potter, KG,  HB,  ES,)

on current form id go  Hoskins,  JJOT, MT, Anderson behind Revs

This. (With Mccourt sitting in front of the back four in a 4-1-4-1.)

I'd like to see Gorre brought on as a sub against a tiring defence.

Its not about Kenji Gorre, its about building a Relationship with Swansea city f.c. or any other top flight club who who like to send 'good' players out for game time. N.T.F.C. will and should make the call ,so if any player wants to wear a cobblers shirt and try and win a game for us,his got my 100% support so long as he gives 100%.SHOE ARMY!

For me our best 11 at the moment would be :

                       Revell

                   Beautyman

            Taylor             John Joe

                     Mccourt

Buchnana                                    Maloney

         Zakuani    Nyatanga  Diamond

                     Smith

Although I dont think we have the squad to sustain it.

I for one don't want to support a feeder club  If the best that Swansea can offer is Danny Alfei and Kenji Gorre, then heaven help us.  I hear that Alfei has packed the game in.

You're getting there.  I was just thinking JJOT, Taylor, McCourt myself.  I wouldn't go with a back five, but stick with the four as we have looked very solid.  Instead I'd go 4-3-3 with Potter and Hoskins down the flanks, or Potter and Anderson.  Revell deserves some support and service.
