Looking forward to seeing him play. Hopefully RP will get the message through to him soon.

It became obvious within a few minutes of the fleetwood match that he is incredibly one footed and always looks to come inside - it seems to be the fashion these days - and if it's obvious to us it will be obvious to the opposition. It would be a great option if he would back himself and take his man on the outside but it just looks like he hasn't got the confidence

There was a very interesting moment with young Kenji last night... it was early in the second half and he knocked the ball ahead of himself to chase along the West stand touchline. One of the West Bromwich players stepped across in front of him and he gave up. It wasn't an obstruction or anything, but he'd have had to have gone shoulder to shoulder with the guy to keep the ball.
I thought to myself "he just gibbed that". Someone a few rows in front clearly thought the same thing but decided to share it with him by yelling "don't f***ing wimp out of everything, Kenji!" Gorre clearly heard this and turned to look at the guy who'd shouted. I initially thought he was pissed off but the look on his face was a mixture of hurt and confusion, like it hadn't really occurred to him that he might be doing just that. He held the stare for a good few seconds before moving on.
Maybe I'm just misreading it and it was just a dismal attempt at a death stare, but from that point on it almost felt like he had a point to prove. I've never liked it when people yell abuse at individual players as I don't think it helps, however in this instance I'm not sure that it didn't!

Not the only occasion (both last night in other games) but he's young, and will hopefully learn from it.

Thought Kenji had a much better game today.
Got stuck in when needed (although his booking was silly) and crossed the ball a few times with his left foot, as well as tracking back a bit better.
Buchs was constantly on his case to keep him in position, hopefully he will start taking it on board.
Well done though Kenji, improvements are showing.

Imo he's still better than Potter! His confidence was growing in the game, shame we brought him off!

He was on a yellow card remember! Definite improvement, one of those left foot crosses he made today was a beautiful ball... so he can do it!

Well played Kenji - Nothing to moan about now. Except perhaps let's move the bloody skip a bit (or maybe a lot) closer so at least there's some semblance of entertainment there.

I thought the extra work put in by Gorre in training this week, on his left foot crossing, showed results.
I also thought it was pathetic by the group of so called Cobblers fans, in the lower North section of the West Stand, who booed him when substituted!

Didn't he miss a sitter after just 40 seconds?? Agreed a couple of left foot crosses were refreshing!! Ran down a few blind alleys too.....but he's getting there...slowly!!

Getting better every game, a few runs outside his man and a few left foot crosses rather than cutting in on his right foot every time.

It was hardly a sitter, edge of the area that needed curling into the top corner!

I personally think Gorre had a good game today...well for 60 minutes at least. As soon as he got the ball he focused on whipping it into the penalty area. I thought it was a great improvement.

I've only seen 2 games this season, but would you say he's a lot better than Potter or D'Ath.? I'm just not a fan of us given other clubs players a start in life unless they actually contribute a lot to the team. Marshall, Walker etc did that. I'd much rather see us play D'ath, who by the way would grow in confidence if he was given a run in the team, and would hopefully give us a good sell on fee etc.

Can't disagree with that.
