That's why I don't travel budget airline, by the time you have added on the baggage and every thing else they can think of, you are paying near enough as much as the main airlines but with a lesser experience.

The RAF? Crabair will get you there......eventually...they are not bad at dropping a bit of lead but transporting passengers?

Not my experience - the branded airlines like to quote such examples but it generally is not actually the case. Is a short haul economy flight in BA really any better than EasyJet - last time with BA the complimentary cup of tea came with a bag of crisps so small you would struggle to get 4 crisps into it - tatty planes and staff that clearly regard customers as an irritation.

I've just flown from Heathrow to Hamburg with BA. yes you do get a packet of six crisps and a tiny cup of tea! But i had civilised check in, seat choice and of course a union jack on the tail! All luggage included in the price and NO hidden extras!

Looking forward to this game, I would like to see R.P go for it at home and play 2 up front against the Real dons.
As mentioned elsewhere our defence looks strong so i would expect them to deal with whatever they throw at us.
A win tomorrow and IMO it would have been a great start to the season.

I wonder if you thought Dagenham at home last season in September was a must win?

Agreed. Bit of a must win in a weird way... not because they are bottom, but because 3 draws and 1 loss wouldn't look too clever. Backing from the crowd tomorrow would help, even if it gets a bit tense, or sits at 0-0 a while.

Why do people always assume that 2 up front is automatically more attacking? 4-4-2 turns into 4-2-4 when attacking as the 2 wingers push on. 4-2-3-1 does the same, but the type of attack tends to be different due to the slightly different (and more varying vs 4-4-2) position of the players. Revell had absolutley nothing to feed off against Oldham and putting a second striker to play next him could only serve to isolate both the strikers given that the second man would likely be Rico. For me, i would prefer to see 4-2-3-1, but we need to work on the creative aspect. As i said in the Oldham thread, we need to be 'building' attacks from the back. Adam Smith needs to release the ball to his full backs instead of blasting long and giving possesion back immediately and we need to play to feet instead of lumping balls far down the flanks, into space that our players never seem to make up at the moment.

Interesting spin on it, you make it sound very easy like we are Barcelona or something. ...It seems the fashion now amongst some managers to over complicate it with fancy formations etc when we clearly don't have the players with that sort of ability to play that system. 4-4-2 gives you a balance of sorts which nobody can hide. lets see shall we

Getting a third man in midfield will help dominate possession and hopefully create more chances, we need those behind the striker to get close to them / go beyond. I don't think our problems so far are to do with playing one up, more creativity and ruthlessness from the midfielders. Having said all that I do get why fans want their team to play 2 up fron, especially at home! See how we go, early days innit!
