Nice idea mate, but maybe fighting a lost cause... one man tweeting with a few retweets aint gonna 'SellOutSixfields' - Sorry to be a killjoy, but regardless of freezing prices for league cup game regardless aint gonna add 2,000 onto our usual saturday attendance. I am sure we will have our usual 4,500-6,000 depending on how well southend travel.
I will be there regardless like I am every saturday, but good luck!
Doesn't need to be just one guy. If 100 of us on here properly got behind it it's got some legs. Original message been retweeted 50 times, follow up also going well, club are behind it and retweeting which will help. All we need is 10% of regulars to bring an extra friend or two.

Just added my pebble to the project on Twitter:
Never mind United coming to town, let's create an unbelievable atmosphere on Saturday to launch a new unbeaten league run. #SellOutSixfields
It's a good idea and will only fail if we dismiss it.

After years of boredom, despair, resignation and misery, this is unbound joy.

Everyone's ticket prices increased this season, we are in a higher league with a higher wage bill. Are you saying disabled supporters tickets should have remained the same?
The sentiment stays the same, for whatever your reason, would be excellent to sellout Sixfields for the league game vs Southend. Helps the team having additional support, more money banked for January squad strengthening, more companies wanting to advertise with bigger crowds, more programmes, food and drink sold etc etc.
Cobbler78 is doing his best for the club, the bit about thanking KT is a red herring intentional or not. If it brings even a few extra bodies into the ground then it well be worthwhile. What we need is the defiant spirit of those who chanted "31" at the end last Sat. The first one '78 is always the hardest; so keep it up.

Cheers, hopefully it works. The "WeWantAnswer" campaign started the same way, who knows where we would be if the fans ignored what was going on without protest and bringing it to the media's attention. But that's for another thread. Let's keep this one all about #SellOutSixfields. I've persuaded a couple of floating fans to come on Saturday vs Southend, how many has everyone else got to drag along for the ride?

I've got an extra couple to come Saturday. Ones that usually only come to away games with us.

Good idea, but I'll not be able to make it. If I'm honest I made more of an effort last season for two very obvious reasons and enjoyed every minute. This season I'm not quite so hooked up on - it glad we are doing OK following on radio and ntfc player, twitter and luckily on telly too. An offer of a pub crawl round Brum is a better option for the weekend. However diary clear and already planning a trip to the bright lights of Scunny in a few weeks!

I've recruited another, looking good. After the Man Utd game hopefully we can give this one final push, will be interesting to see if it makes a significant increase in attendance.

The last couple of weeks has shed some light on why some people might not to come back to Sixfields or be involved in the club.
One the miserable negative attitude of a lot of our fans. Two the elitist "I'm a bigger fan than you I went to Hartlepool away on a Tuesday and the cup tie is too mainstream for me" brigade.
Neither are enjoyable people to be around.
Anyway , I have pumped my Facebook and twitter. Surprising amount of people interested in coming ! a Miracle tomorrow might make things a lot easier.

I asked a couple of friends but they said they couldn't get a ticket for the man Utd game that they fancied attending so why would they bother going to this? I tried

Hey that's me! If you have the misfortune to end up next me on Saturday, I'll try not to be too miserable.

I always try to bring extra people to watch the Cobblers, but in general anyone who buys a ticket to an event does not do it out of sentiment unless it's a charity event, which a ticket to Sixfields is not. People are attracted by the quality of the football and the facilities on offer at the ground. Obviously when a side is on a winning run people will turn up in droves even if the facilities were awful (which they are not at Sixfields).

To be fair my friends don't know who Kelvin Thomas is. I have convinced them that their home town club has just gone 31 games unbeaten and is just about to go toe to toe with Man Utd and that we should get pissed up and go down saturday. (I am doing dry september, but the drinking bits the only lie )
