I think we would all agree, Kelvin Thomas could have doubled the ticket price for the Man Utd game and still sold out to the fans who come once in a blue moon. So as a sign of thanks, and in keeping with the in it together attitude the club, players and fans have at the moment we should aim to sell out Sixfields for the league game vs Southend.
So if you are a season ticket holder, next time one of your mates asks you for a ticket for the ManUtd game, tell them, you cant get them one as regular fans are rightly prioritised, but you can get them a ticket for the Southend game the Saturday after. Even if one in every two season ticket holders did this, we would get a sell out if you add the other infrequent match goers.
With a bit of social media coverage and word of mouth #SellOutSixfields could be a great success and a big thumbs up to the way the club is being run at the moment.

The opposition isn't the point. Its a chance to support your local team and a chance to give something back and say thanks for the cup ticketing policy. A bit of give and take never hurt. #SellOutSixfields

Worth a push though! Like has been said, even if half of us drag a friend along it'll be a good boost to the attendance. Get it going on social media and hopefully it'll take off.

Southend have been a bit of a bogey team for us over recent history. We owe them a beating. A big crowd might help.

Any suggestions to get extra fans down Sixfields is a good thing.
The desperately sad looking empty family enclosure so far this season needs filling that's for sure.
What's not happening this season that we did in the past to encourage more families and local kids football teams, do we still push the pre match tournaments?

School holidays still, this will have an impact because a lot of the local kids stuff is done via the schools. |
