Good luck to Zak - off to the DR Congo for a World Cup qualifier, unfortunately will miss the mk dongs but at least we've got nyatanga to step in. I hadn't considered it before but presumably Zak will also miss a chunk of January for the African cup of nations?

I recall Pish supporters commenting that Zakuani was away a lot on international duty. Just as well we have good cover in that position.  What happens if Revell gets injured with Rico struggling is a worry. Sorry but I don't see JJ Hooper filling any void.

DR Congo have already qualified for the African Cup of Nations, which starts 14th Jan and runs to 5th Feb.

That sounds like a good idea! I'll bet the DR Congo shirts can be bought relatively cheaply on Ebay.

Will be missed but we have cover with Lewin and Concrete Rod.

Lewin played really well with Zander yesterday.

DRC 1 - 0 Morocco. Great result for them with (effectively) nine men towards the end.
Get some treatment for Zaks and rest him eh Dr. Congo!
