If they hadn't told the clubs before today which is when it was posted, then the club should appeal. John-Joe is the first and only person to reach a yellow card suspension this season.

If the club isn't aware of the rules of the competitions it is entering then maybe it's time for a new club secretary

Depends how recently this change in rules from previous seasons was officially announced to the club, ie was it after JJOT reached 5 bookings.
