Semilong and faced a 2 mile treck across the wide open Racecourse in wind rain sleet snow ice and the baking heat of 1976 to get to the hallowed grounds.

Bloody chairman of the time -  not laying on good weather or a covered concourse across the racecourse......

Marquis, you already have my name, email, IP address - now you want my home address?

Shall I speed things up for you and just give you my bank details? Cheesy

Oh yeah? Were you? No, you weren't, were you?
But where was your first home? Ignoring that some people from black and white used to be born at home "in the back bedroom"
I was Turner St. Top end by the factory that's now flats. According to google maps it is an 11 minn walk, 0.5 mile walk to the county tavern, which is what I'm using as the hotel end marker

Born in the army bit of Hampshire, lived loads of places, first moved to Northampton for college in 1991 - brand-new halls on Park Campus (Nene College) then Oliver Street (Kingsley) then Park Avenue North (Abingdon) then Kingsthorpe Grove. All over in 4 years. My house on Park Ave North was only a couple of hundred metres from the Hotel End but I never went to a match, too student poor/miserly/buying crap LPs instead.

We did have a couple of Cobblers fans hiding in our front garden on Park Ave North though, after Cobblers beat Shrewsbury (2-0 I think) in 1993-94 or so, and the Shrewsbury fans chased locals up the street for whatever reason. We had Romanians visiting us that day who took photos; very excited to see real English football hooligans even though they knew it was just 'genți de mānă' (handbags) as they probably don't say in Bucharest.

I was living in London when I attended my first Cobblers game in August 1997. 2-0 defeat on pens by Millwall, glory days.

Yes I do. I started my education at Stimpson Avenue School not far away.

Born in Barratts, first house Whitehills. But conceived in a flat on the corner of Allen Road and Adnitt Road above a shop.
To be fair my mum and dad were living the dream then, first/second tier football on thier doorstep and soon a wonderful son like me.
