The new community radio station NNBC 106.9 is now with us. It is intended to serve Northampton and most surrounding villages that relate to the town. It is run entirely by volunteers and I am one of them, presenting the Monday to Friday breakfast show between 7a.m. and 10a.m. The music throughout the station is excellent for many people, although clearly it is impossible to please 100%!
My reason for posting this here is to let you know that around 8.30a.m. on Mondays I shall always try to feature some Cobblers' news, and this week I'll be speaking to Rob Page as he heads into Sixfields. You may send any advance question to steve@nnbc.co.uk or tweet on the morning to NNBC1069

Forgot to say - your opinions (keep it short) on today's game, or any Cobblers' stuff, or indeed anything community related for which you need free publicity, may be sent at any time to steve@nnbc.co.uk

I once heard you say on air you would do that job for free. Well now you are! And good luck to you and all with the venture.
BBC Northampton is pretty dull (save for the excellent Bernie Keith and their sports coverage).
And seriously who listens to those two on Heart?
As for Chris Evans - just no!
So unless Danny Baker gets a breakfast show sometime soon, when travelling through town I'll listen in.

First I've heard of this station. Very best of luck, Steve. And good to see you healthy and back on your feet after a bumpy few months!
