I think that there is a good chance this thread will be locked before the night's out  Grin

Why? It's about as s*** as most as most other threads.

Why? It's about as sh*t as most as most other threads.

That's one good reason. As soon as race is mentioned it usually decends into who can be the least racist, whilst maintaining some racist undertones.

I'm laughing at some of these comments. I am a Southend fan and have seen a lot of Laurent. My favourite player by a mile. He has played about 4 games since June last year and probably has had a handful of training sessions. He is a player that takes a while to get fit anyway. I think he needs 4 or 5 weeks of hard training before you see him anywhere close to his potentia. Just cameo appearances in the last 15-20 mins for now.

When he is fit he is a very quick dribbler with a log loping stride. He also has excellent skills and has that rare ability of beating a man with ease. Also watch out for his spins with his back to goal and various tricks. If you are a get stuck in, get rid of it junkie then you probably won't like him.....bit i like flair players and at least he tries things. He plays like he is in the school playground.....very direct and refreshing. I remember him destroying Leeds one game.

He did score a hat-trick for Cardiff in pre-season and Coventry did want to sign him......look up Ady Boothroyds comments if you want. GIVE HIM TIME.

Well, Simon, I've cried at them. I'm a Cobblers fan. I was near someone who gave him just 8 minutes. Anyone beat that?

2011/2 will be tough. There are some good teams in League 1.

I agree, he looked a bit better on Saturday. Shame that the rest of the team had lost the plot.

Let's hope he starts ahead of Super Kev tomorrow.

He looked rubbish on Saturday, but slightly less rubbish than he has done before...but given that Southend fans seem to like him and he's not played many games recently, I'm still optimistic. Needs match time!
