thought you said we wouldn't be able to give Bolton enough tickets? We gave them too many.
Beds... your comments on this? Fairly sure Bolton would have been one of the teams in your plan we could sell the extra 2000 seats to.

over the course of 23 league games and cup ties in a league 1 season, we would if we had the capacity be able to cater for as many as 10,000 more visiting fans. Thats £200,000 lost revenue right there. As for lost revenues for being only able to house 6700 home fans you could say similar, so thats another £200,000 on top! Monies that could go to paying off the 2500 bank of terracing and squad strengthening to keep fans flocking. But me mustn't put pressure on Kelvin as he's doing all he can with the hot dog stands etc.

No. That's not what you said. You said Bolton would sell 2000 tickets.

Please explain a rough breakdown of where the extra 10,000 away fans will come from, as fairly sure Bolton would have been on that list prior. I would say not including Man U as it would be foolish to base a financial plan on a getting a game like that as the dont happen all that often And how many times this season have we sold out the 6700 home seats? And no, reducing the cost of a burger by £1 will not bring in 10,000 people. Although if they start coming for cheap burgers we might have to sell them 2 seats

Lost gates to date on Peterborough millwall west brom bristol rovers etc...and with man utd getting a ridiculous 920 tickets that cant be ignored.. Lost revenues to come off the top of my head ..Cov charlton sheff utd etc and teams chasing promotion at the business end of the season will want more tickets than available, not forgetting a possible cup run and a plum tie.. I doubt play offs will come into play this season but has to be considered for further future loses..
Our club crest could include the motto, We lose lots and lose well... In Latin.

A bit early to qualify for 2016 awards but hilarious nevertheless
Such bad journalism, he says 'I made one gigantic mistake' yet doesn't ask what it was We all know he's a crook but he could have at least asked him at the time, so intimidated by the big bald crook

What you seem to forget is that Gareth works for NTFC. DC was his boss and I'm pretty sure sorted out the questions. I don't think too many people would make their boss look an idiot, if they wanted to carry on working there.

He didn't need to most of the time, that was one job Cardoza didn't have to outsource

Didn't realise he was the interviewer. Makes sense now.

stuck between a rock and a hard place if ever there was.. Having to turn a blind eye and being subjected to force feed cardoza bull **** while his 'boss' shafts the club he supports and works for to an inch of its life... Couldn't have been easy for him. Also being made to speak out and threaten supposedly detractors would've been hard on him.

It might well have been but he has never apologised for doing so. I'd respect the bloke a lot more if he did.

Ridiculous, he has nothing to apologise for. He was one of the many members of staff who worked unpaid to keep our club going! Don't forget also that the club's staff issued a press statement demanding that DC sell the club. I've never before seen a statement from a football club essentially bollocking their owner while he's still in charge. That was a big call - and it had a huge impact for sure. I'd recommend reading Gareth's excerpt in 'The Year of the Cobber' if you can, a fascinating insight into working at the club during that particular spell.

There has been some pretty daft postings on this site over the years, possibly some from me, but for anyone to criticise Gareth for not giving his boss, Cardoza, a Jeremy Paxton type grilling just about tops the lot.

So if you boss asked you to help him steal from your customers and then help him cover it up would would right?
