I hope it is being investigated as to who knew what and when.
When you are club spokesperson and are giving out regular press releases in the lead up to the biggest scandal in the clubs history,you are wittingly or unwittingly involved.
I have no idea what occurred but I'm glad I didn't align myself as the ex chairmans press officer during what has turned out to be a major incident.
As far as the club is concerned as far as I know there has never been an internal investigation but I'd imagine that's irrelevant now the police are involved.
My hunch is that the staff were unaware of the impending disaster(at least until it was obvious that things were wrong)
You would however like to think a few had been questioned regards what occurred though.
If not it's not much of an investigation IMO.
Just look up the names Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning for an example of why someone might not want to 'blow the whistle'. they are extreme examples, i know. but the principle is the same. It can be career suicide to blow the whistle on your Employer... and that's assuming that Gareth actually had anymore knowledge than most of us fans. I doubt he did personally.
